The test server has been running that version for the last day or so. So thats why. :)
They are bringing back Kali to the test server tonight.

I download the patch and having big troubles with it...do i have to re-install the client?? I go to the directory and just fails... please help

So. . . bigger patch sizes eh? How big is Kali gonna be. . . I'm on 100Meg a day at Uni, don't wanna have to download Kali over a few days while everyone else gets the new toys (or worse download it all and get a 3 day ban). Eeeeek.

Nice patch. It froze on Thumbs.db. Now my client is corrupted and it's telling me to reinstall the full build.

I left the room for a few minutes, came back, saw no progress and tried clicking the "Details" button to see what was going on. That's when it froze and I ended up with program not responding.
Luckily I had an old build in another folder that was able to patch through, though now I've probably got a lot of settings to fix, bookmarks to shuffle, etc. Hurrah for sloppy patching.

Same here, i've just reinstalled eve, downloading all the patchs again now. Fingers crossed.

The thumbs.db file is generated by the Windows operating system. It is a database file containing the small images displayed when you view a folder in "thumbnail" view (as opposed to tile, icon, list, or detail view).
kinda weird they put it in...
