Yea the Scordite is where your going wrong, as already said Omber or Kernite, anything else is a waste of time, Lvl 1, 2, and 3 missions are a test of the soul, in boredom and grinding, however do them to reach level 4's, read up on all missions at http://eveinfo.com in fact they have a ton of info about everything.
Then get your skills up and look at moving out to 0.0, Corps in ISS, IAC and CVA would make an excellent first step in this direction.

Ingore what everyone sais here.
Save up for a battlecruiser, the ferox, fit it with one of the examples u find in ships and module forums and go do lvl 3 missions.

oh yea ignore what everyones said here and listen to the guy that doesn't read what anyones written, because he already knows better, yea you'll go far that way.....

Cruiser + fitting = 4M max
Loot of highsec haulers = much much more
