What does this arbitrary decision and surprise implentation mean for other unseeded Tech I BPO's?

I would like to make sure that Prototype Cloaking Device I BPOs get similar treatment as Cargo1 and SBA1 got. I would even settle for a BPO of my choice  instead of straight convert to....improved? covert?
Yes. Now the question remains what is to happen to the other unseeded tech 1 bpos. Is the new baseline that upgrades these bpo's to tech 2 when the tech 1's are made widely available going to continue? Or do those bpo owners get to see their value destroyed at random? Certainly the owners of SBA 1's and EC 1's were protected for reasons unknown.

Lets see, how many days has it been since this fiasco was initiated?
How many hundred players have posted asking for an answer to the obvous questions about such an ill-considered action?
How many thousand more players are equally frustrated but just haven't bothered to post?
How many answers has the player community received?
Its funny how people just do not learn from history. Small company hits a home run with a great idea and cool product. They become successful and instead of the customer being the center of their concern, things change, and it becomes just lip service, because now, its all about their own success.
Just last week CCP's CEO in his presentation at fanfest stated categorically that in his exact words "its all about the players".
Is this kind of stonewalling on an important game change the kind of action thats squares with those words?
If it hasn't come clear to the growing egos in Iceland why the player community is so upset about this, maybe they should read it again.
Words are cheap. Actions matter.

ISK selling, Macromining on INSANE numbers, the whole Lottery gank and T2 BPO choke, etc etc blah blah blah...
They made a great game, they are genius' at what they do (developing), but they dont CARE man, get it through your heads.
The bottom line is, they are awesome developers but are utterly clueless when it comes to customer relations.
I have a sneaking suspicion it's all just a game to them, if you know what I mean.Their own personal manipulation of the masses.
I mean cmon, stealth nerfing, stealth boosting, that says it all pretty much right there about how much information they think we can handle or deserve.
They are gonna do what they are gonna do and dont give a rats a** about our opinions.
Bunghole once again has summed up the entire situation perfectly. Well done bunghole.
Horrible communication is bad enough, but the gagging hypocrisy of it all is the CEO standing up in front of 600 people at fanfest saying "Its all about the players".  - when it so obviously isn't anymore.
