Hi,
Everytime I log on the test server, I only get a few seconds before I lose connection. The only way I can get back on the internet after this is to re-set my router. This does not happen when I log into Tranquility, so seems to be caused by the test server, is anyone else having this problem?

I have downloaded the latest patch, and tried again, but the same thing happens, I am able to log in and get into the station. However any attempt to access the station causes a loss of connection, and my router is completly sized up and I can only get back on the internet after I switch it off.
This only happens when I access the test server so it must be something to do with the version that is up.
This obviously a concern as if not fixed by time it is deployed, I will no longer be able to access Eve :(

Are you in wireless to that router of yours?
If so, try connect through a cable...

No it is a standard network connection through a cable, I assume it is something to do with the data being transfered after I log in as this does not happen with anything else including RMR which I am using all the time.

I encountered something like that with a combination of traffic shaping and packet optimising for a specific network type.
Some network hardware didn't follow the rules and handled packets in weird ways, leading to the ports being held open but unusable until the hardware had been reset.
You just can't rely on hardware manufacturers following the rules. Theoretical speed on a sheet is more important than actual bandwidth available. They'll point at you and say that the fault lies on your end and not on theirs. --*=*=*--
The cause for this is not yet known, but we do have a possible fix in testing. by Sharkbait | 2006.09.20 |

Hi mate,
I had the same issue, using a D-link 504G ADSL MODEM.
I updated the firmware last night and the problem was solved.
P.S. I posted in the Bug forum with my solution apparently someone deleted it.
