ROFL!!! OMG, you people! I made an off hand comment to the guy at FanFest and he said, "Yeah, we're looking at it." It's not like there was a prolonged discussion. Sheesh!
Obviously I am the only person he listens to.

Great. 6 guns with bonuses and 30 m3 of drones vs the gallente 6 guns with no bonuses, 37.5% repair bonus to repair amount, 50% hitpoint boost to drones, an extra medium slots to make it 5 AND 100 m3 of drones. Yeah, that sounds balanced....
So will the hurricane get a 5:th medium slot at least? I think losing one turret is very severe for this ship (14% less damage), specially considering it doesnt have any other bonuses or anything. Seriously, this is NOT fair at all.
And have a look at the Harbinger.

The Hurricane isn't particularly exciting either, its only better than a muninn because the muninn is so ****.

I was so hoping for something "expendable" that could bring the pain. I guess it's still alright, I just didn't think the expected nerf wouldn't be so severe.

the harbinger will now finally have an advantage over the hurricane to make up for the higher fitting cost and the capneed of lasers. looks pretty good to me.
if you want you can move a lowslot up to med on ther hurricane for all i care.

This is so god**** ***. The game looked like it was taking a turn for the better with the new battlecruisers being a viable alternative to battleships in close range combat and now the nerfage starts.
Put back the turret on the hurricane and atleast put a rof or damage to all bonus on the drake(old stats were a bit to good but atleast now I can stop trying to figure how to train up for decent missile skills for HAMs :P)

I can understand the drake being nerfed, but now it sucks having being over nerfed. Same with the hurricane, the 2 ships i was looking forward to in kali :(

A turret and some powergrid ,so i'am told.It is a bg rupture with fins on the side now .
The next question is:
-Are you going to nerf the myr and the harb?
That's what I was thinking. If you take into account factors like cost of the ship, amount of minerals needed to build it, mobility (agility), sig radius, m3 when packaged, etc; there isn't many reasons to choose Hurricane over the Rupture for general use. I guess time will tell.

Mael is nothing to get excited about, hurricaine was, but less so now  . I'll still try it out but I think CCP just some of their (admittedly small) minnie fanclub by making a "good ship" another "average ship" for the race.

Well, its just that I get so tired of it. All myrmidon have to do is add a overdrive to get the same frigging speed the hurricane has, with all their advantages of drone hitpoints, repair boost bonus, extra mid slot, higher dps. I just dont see the balance and its frustrating to see ccp take this route once again.

Drake is total crap now, I can only hope they give it back the rate of fire bonus. If not, it's basically a pre-kali boost Nighthawk, looks nice but isn't worth the materials used to make it.
When is CCP going to realize that kin dmg bonus is stupid, Gallente whined it up hardcore when they were "almost" hit with a thermal drone dmg bonus so why is caldari still screwed with this worthless bonus?

Drones do different DPS depending on damage type (TH>KI>EXP>EM), missles do the same DPS for each damage type (EM=EXP=KI=TH). I'd rather see missles get some kind of damage progression (e.g. KI>EM>EX>TH) and replace the kinetic damage bonus with a flat damage bonus, but I doubt that will ever happen.
