Given ROF bonus, it becomes a champ like the rest of the command bcruisers, just look at the price increase since the ROF announcement in Kali. Now, with BOTH sporting 5% shield resists and one of them hybrid range, the other kinetic missile bonus... aren't they basically pretty much just BOTH "tank and almost no gank" ? If you want to change something, change the almost-too-overpowered 5% shield resist to 10% kinetic damage bonus and LEAVE the danged 5% RoF bonus in place. With 5% RoF bonus and 10% missile kinetic damage bonus, THAT would be a gank platform that wouldn't tank as good as a Ferox (well, to be honest, it still would due to sheer size difference, but at least it wouldn't be BETTER). _____ -sig- This is my only char. I don't think they're serious. I've said "let's go pod her", but only as a joke. Especially because I'm a nobody and could be sneezed dead. I think that joke ran it's course very quickly though, and even a joke maybe oog threat is pretty sketch TBH. How about we go pod the devs? As we don't know who they are, we'll have to do everyone. Form an orderly line please

Shame though. I was really looking forward to 7 turrets of AC pwnage, and a Minmatar ship aside from the Vagabond (apparently another ship on the nerf list) that pilots from other races wanted to fly! As for the Drake. It looked interesting, and the Ferox usually runs around with 5 unbonused missile launchers on it. At least the Caldari get the ship that the Ferox should have been. I'd quite like to see the Ferox get a reduction to missile hardpoints, but that's another topic. Akkarin The sad thing is, the Ferox is actually almost just as good as the Drake now as a missile platform unless you are straight out loaded kinetic missiles. Most people do not use kinetic missiles in PvP, in fact it's usually a bad idea to use them, especially vs t2 ships which 3/4 races get boosted kinetic resists (Minmatar is the only race which doesn't). Weak man.. weak.. Drake should be a good ship, rate of fire made it worthwhile.. hell Ferox has more grid, technically you could get a more solid setup on it compared to the Drake... w e a k. I would most certainly trade in BOTH bonuses to get the rof bonus and the 7th launcher hardpoint back.

The Hurricane was set to be a great T1 battlecruiser, something that finally gave Minmatar pilots a nice number of turret slots rather than stupid split weapon setups. Personally, I would rather it have dropped a high slot entirely than lost a turret slot and still have 8 highs. While I was previoulsy excited about this ship, now I can't see myself even wanting to invest in one.

Dont nerf the good ships, boost the crap ones. People were finally excited about their matari skills, i know i was. Now its just an average ship with a bad layout. for a 1/5 of the price i can buy a rupture and be 60% - 70%as effective, how does that math work. The cost of the cane no longer justifies purchising it other then to look at yourself in the new ship, which i will probably do. Although i really think the drake got the worst of it here. That nerf is way over the top. EDIT: Remove the players name from title please.
