I mentioned this previously in prior correspondences but these are some tools/assets I think would be very handy:
(no particular order)
- a webGL type setup of all the ship/stations with the greenscreen option - access to the full music library/sound effect library (within reason of course) with license to use them for projects (YouTube & Twitch can be a bit iffy on that sort of stuff with their automated Algorithms) - a full, high quality, *.png library of all the NPC faction logos. I guess you can do that with the in-game player alliance logos as well since the new system shouldn't be a problem though maybe that's something CCP's Legal team will need to discuss amongst themselves.
These, at a minimum, should give the video makers & Twitch streamers the assets to create their own stuff like intros/outros etc. without overburdening CCP with the work. It also allows for more creativity on the users part. |

Adding to what I said above, you could just make *.mov videos of all the ships spinning (sort of like what I did using WebGL for The o7 Report) without any background.
This would let the ship be overlayed on top of another video/image layer that can help with various things.
The One Man Crew video did this as well to show off the ship being used by the participant.
As for live streaming, there's a program called CLRBrowser (plugin for OBS & XSplit I believe) that uses *.swf files and HTML files to animate various things (eg. subscribers, info, etc.) that could use some loving. I'm not overly familiar with that sort of stuff though but I'm sure SirSqueebles or someone can share their insight.

I probably mentioned it before but a thing that would be highly beneficial is an easily accessible database that has all the submitted alliance logos. Namely this can just be a drop box or whatever that automatically pulls the relevant alliance data (based off their ID code) and places the image into the folder. It'd be helpful for a variety of reasons, some of which are personally beneficial to what I do with the Nullsec Recaps and so forth.
At present, the only way to really get this data is to know the alliance's ID number and manipulate a URL or by searching on dotlan/EVE-Gate which can be laborious and very tedious.
Thanks.
