mofokitkat	Posted - 2006.11.16 22:57:00 - [3] the multispec is kinda pointless. and the 4 small arty's would be much better replaced with medium sized autocannons. it must take you ages to down other cruisers with that set up. and if you come across anything with a bit of speed about it your gonna struggle. the rupture likes to be up close and personal but just outside of blaster range if you can.

The dual repper setup is amazing i can destroy ships at belts, stations and gates so far my record is 37 seconds. Best of all no one expects this setup.

Atm i have not been beat by a cruiser or any frig.. t1 or t2 accept for the unfortunate incident with that bloody vexor and its t2 hammerheads But anyway.. one last YAR!

Your setup does 124.973 DPS on a Thorax structure not including drones with Quake. An alternative to your setup: 4x Dual 180mm I 2x Medium Nos 1x MWD 1x Scrambler 1x Web 2x Med Rep 2 1x EANM1 1x Gyro 1x RCU1 It does 164.941 DPS with EMP. To go a step further, with higher skills, it does 291.492 DPS with Dual 180mm 2 and Hail, same tank. So yeah. Don't know what else to tell you. The moderators here are excellent at policing signatures.

Dual reps without a cap injector? How long can you sustain that? With Dual 180mm IIs I've taken a Harpy down in 13 seconds. (Just so you know that taking a frig down in 27 seconds is not an indicator of a good setup.) I've also gone toe-to-toe with a Deimos. He got the better of me, obviously, but he was struggling towards the end. (I thought it was a Thorax, and couldn't understand why he wasn't going down...) Anyway, if all you want to do is pop frigs, use a Thrasher. Using a Rupture with small guns is just stupid, when you have double bonuses for medium guns.

With the launchers included, this thing pretty much just frontloads the damage until the target is dead. I tested it vs. thoraxes, and it ripped even 1600mm plated versions a new one while taking hardly any damage in return by staying out of blaster range. I would prob still fly my ac rupture though edit: being that running two reps seems to be your saving grace with this, and that you have no cap booster, anything that can nos you down can hurt you bad, I would consider swapping out the ecm for cap boosters and maybe adding some dps in the high slots when the ecm nerf hits live and cap boosters get super light Originally by:** Pinky Denmark Caldari have other options like using rails or train for other ships/weapons...
