Heh the gallente think they are bad enough to mess with us Caldari. They think we are concerned about the Minmatar helping them in thier poorly built ships that are held together by less then chewing gum. The Gallente are nothing more then maggots. ripe for our stomping it is time we desimated them. We should attack and in the process take back our home world. I also say let Murdo's Legion lead the way. They kicked the Gallente once it would be entertaining watching it again. I my self will rally my corperation and friends into a frenzy for Gallente blood. Beware Gallente you are no longer a threat you are nothing more then a bump in the road. And son you will be nothing more..... -------------------------------------- CRY HAVOC AND LET SLIP THE DOGS OF WAR |

Jera i don't see you eating those protein delicase's. If they are so good why hasn't the entire Caldari State taken to them.
I fear the Gallente made a grave error in taking them up before comprehensive tests had been completed. However the blame lies, none the less, with Sukuuvesta for marketing untested bio-waste products. Ishukone made a bold move and it has paid dividends for them and their image within all other empires.
As for Quafe/Starsi i'd personally sstick with good old pator moonshine, good for warming your belly and de-greasing stardrives. -------- To live your life, only once, and in your own sweet time. What more can you ask?

[quoteSurely, you don't think we would market them as "Protien Delacasies: A tasty biomass treat", do you? You'd be suprised how many food items you can cram biomass into.
And, don't forget the golden rule; If it feels good, or in this case tastes good, the Gallente are all for it.
Cheers.
Yeah, you obviously haven't thought things through very well. The Gallente will no longer be buying any food products from the Caldari, unless perhaps it is from Ishukone.
Otherwise, all of our food will once again come from the Amarr empire. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

By buying clean, healthy products we are in no way endorsing the slave trade. Where in "Our food will come from Amarr" are the words "We think the slave trade is good"? ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

Unfortunately the Caldari, and even Gaius, on this occasion, are absolutely right.
You don't think the Amarr till the fields and harvest this good, clean, healthy food themselves, do you? Do you think the cheap price they offer it at would be possible if they paid their workforce?
Wake up, open your eyes, and start being a constructive ally.

So Makkar...we are supposed to sacrifice ourselves eating your people in protein delicacies or buy food from Amarr, harvested, once again, by your people. Either way, it is supporting your race's further subjugation and destruction. Would you sell us Minmatar products? ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

By jove, I think he's got it!
This is what has always given me a good chuckle when it comes to the Federations role as an "ally" to the Republic. They love to babble for hours about how they support freedom for all people, and are superbly miffed about how the Minmatar are being treated throughout the universe.
Yet, when it comes time for the state to bring in their new stock of lunchtime goodies for their little ones they immeadiately contact Sukuuvestaa. And, let's not pretend this little scenario is exclusive to food products.
Surely, if the Federation and it's inhabitants were all that steeped in their values or morals they would buy from the Republic, even at a slightly higher price. Or, is there a price tag dangling from the bottom of your conscience?
Cheers.

Essentially...
Yes, we could indeed sell you food, I guess. Food made by free Minmatar. The ancestors only know we could do with the income... With all the exhausted slaves we keep rescuing from Amarrian farming colonies you're proposing you buy your food from, the bill for medical supplies and shelter is getting a little steep.

Edited by: Kjartan on 25/11/2003 19:48:26 No, I'm going to drop 1000 isk in space in New Caldari, and watch the entire civilian and military fleets fight over who gets to keep it.
GoldarYou arrogant Gallente, what the Caldari would do is take the Isk multiply it's value by means of smart buisness and divide so we all can profit from it and use the profit to buy and build weapons to use when we destroy your "federation" of fools.

The Gallente whine about food, when they have stolen our homeworld? Return what is rightfully ours and we may heed your pityable bleatings! If they will not return it we should reclaim our birthright by force. LIBERATE CALDARI PRIME

Edited by: Lord Panther on 27/11/2003 22:31:54 It is obvious that greed played a major role in this whole affair.
The Gallente were clearly blinded by their greed. Any fool would have noted that The Caldari weren't eating them. That alone made them suspect. Only an idiot would not have bothered to ask why if these things were so great, those making them weren't eating them.
And the Caldari didn't care about the potential for lost business opportunities if their secret was discovered. Who will ever trust a Caldari corporation again?
The whole mess is just more proof of the superiority of the Amarr race. An Amarr corporation would never have acted in such a manner and the Caldari knew better than to approach us with these things.
Now it appears that Gallente children were adversely affected (reports of problems came to light even before the "secret ingredient" used in the PD's was known).
All of this could have been avoided if the Gallente had stuck to the nutritious, wholesome food sold by honest Amarr merchants.
No instead their desire to save a few isks resulted in a disaster. We of Hooded Monks Mining Industries offer daily prayers in the temples that damage done to gallente children is not permanent.
After all being Gallente is enough of a handicap to begin with. It seems so unfair to saddle the young innocents with more than that.

As a Caldari I was never forced to eat food by the government. What if the gallente federation buys plutonium and feeds it to their kids, will it be another outrage?
Besides which of you Gallente people has ever actually voted? |

Caldari Dog
You who would go to war to defend your right to sell biomass waste labeled as food, have no right to question your betters.
It is not the Amarr who sold biomass to the Gallente under the guise of Protein treats. It was the Calardi. And who knows whether or not grandmothers were indeed stabbed and put in the kettles to meet the demand.
While you Caldari were busy plotting to warp the brains of Gallente youngsters, we Amarr continued to organically grow wholesome food products without any chemical additions.
Who knows perhaps eating some of our food may even help YOUR IQ, although I doubt it.

I'm sorry, using our brains in order to fill our purse makes you our betters? The laws of nature do not include any articles regarding morals or conscience. Survival of the fittest is the order of the day old boy. If you don't have the smarts to either find out if what you're eating is biomass, or to be able to tell in the first place, you deserve to lose a few brain cells.

The Amarr are not noted for their sense of humor, but you break the mold Panther old boy! Tell me, did you have time to get off your high horse and drug a few slaves as you fumbled through that comment?
Another question, was it really you tilling the fields to grow all that organic food stuff, or was it a Minmatar behind the plow? I'm pretty sure we all know the answer.
I will just sit here patiently and wait for you to root through those scriptures of yours and find some out dated, irrelivant passage stating that it's OK for the Amarr people to produce and sell biomass treats. If you have a problem on the production end, stop by Caldari space and we can get you a top notch price.
Cheers.
