The boys who are in the BOB"lite" team have be in the last 2 tournies, one of which was before ATUK-DICE joined BOB. Its got nothing to do with "Oh lets improve our chances for bob BS", They want to play in it for the fun of it. I would like to add that they were present and ready for every match and on several occassions were let down by other teams that didnt turn up!!! Maybe next time we will create the BOB "lite" alliance. Especially for Dork Star 1 and EVE Delusional Force

How can you say, oh create a new alliance is fine but to use an old one is not? If any other alliance did this no one would complain. Don't believe me? As said earlier V did it and no one complained. Former atuk members in BoB have access to joining ATUK and are using this right, they arent doing anything wrong. ATUK quit at the height of their power, fresh of the field of victory. Dozens of battles against some of the strongest in EVE. They raised their war cry, took up arms and then at the apex of their glory they chose to stop. Frankly I do not begrudge some of their former members to carry the flag into battle from time to time. Even (or especialy) at the alliance tournament.

WTF ?? What planet are you living on ? The issue I have is that CCP should restrict the tournament to known active alliances and not include alliances created or revived for the tournament. TBH V had pilots in TRUST last tournament and they fought in the tournament. CCP encourages people to join alliances just for the tournament. And DICE pilots leaving temporarily to bring back a tourney for their old corp ATUK, I think that's freakin great and shows they have pride about being ATUK. Basically more than 5 people in BoB wanted to join the tourney, so some pilots went to a different alliance to play. You are free to do the same.

I mean if IRON made a new alliance and put some people in it, or put some people in an old alliance, then got them back after, it would really just be 2 IRON teams. Tigertex Arcane Technologies The Five	Posted - 2006.11.18 00:55:00 - [55] As a member of The Five (ATUK) that still plays the game on a regular basis (and has never left, even when ATUK closed its doors to new applications),I find it quite offensive that Jaabaa Prime is moaning about 5 being in the pvp competition. The Five has supported the PVP Championship since it started and have done so proudly and will continue to do so as long as our future entries is accepted by Lemonde. To have Jaabaa Prime crying before the tourny has actually started is of no real surprise, i suppose mining all those roids does make ones life very dull.
