Sleeper Social Club (SSC) is a veteran wormhole alliance with a strong reputation in the community for honouring agreements and sticking to our word. We have a zero-tolerance policy against scamming, and as it says in our corp description: GÇÿAll ransoms honoured.GÇÖ
In response to an ever-increasing demand for this service, we are setting up a Wormhole Brokerage/3rd Party service that will fill a huge gap in the market for brokers who are professional, trustworthy and most importantly, available when you need them!
We all know the frustration of having a buyer lined up for your wormhole, but no brokers available in any of the channels. - Equally bad is the feeling of desperately wanting to complete a transaction so you and your corp can move in and start the fun, but not knowing whether you can trust the seller.
We aim to be the most customer-focused brokers, and will make all arrangements within reason to make the transaction as smooth as possible. This includes arranging a trade-by-proxy for buyers and sellers who play in different time zones. We will cover all time zones, and as ever, our reputation goes before us, so you know you are getting a service you can trust.
The broker fee will be 10% of the wormhole sale value.
To contact a broker, just join our channel GÇÿFCFTW PublicGÇÖ, and ask for a broker. All members of Future Corps. with the title GÇÿSSC BrokerGÇÖ are fully trained to act as a broker, and their conduct is guaranteed by the alliance.
This service is being spearheaded by Axloth Okiah and myself. In addition to being an SSC diplo, Axloth is a long-time wormhole realtor and has over two years experience of both brokering and selling his own wormholes. https://forums.eveonline.com/default.aspx?g=posts&t=218388
I have also sold many wormholes in my time, and in the end resorted to brokering some of my own sales, when no established brokers could be found. (A common problem which we hope to cure!) https://forums.eveonline.com/default.aspx?g=posts&m=5122248#post5122248
If you are unfamiliar with the process of wormhole brokering then please read on below where it is explained. Wormhole Brokering
In order to prevent scamming of the buyer during wormhole sales, many people will only buy a wormhole using a trusted 3rd party, or broker. This prevents non-existent or fake wormholes being sold as the seller does not get the money until the buyer confirms they are happy with the system in question. Additionally the seller is often happy to use a Broker as the majority of people as I said will not buy a WH without one. It goes like so:
1. The broker fee is 10% of the sales price that buyer and seller have agreed upon. Usually this is 5% each from buyer and seller, but they can negotiate this between themselves. 2. The buyer sends the money to the Broker. 3. The Broker confirms to the seller that the money is received, and the seller gives the location of the wormhole to the buyer. Bookmarks can be contracted directly to the buyer from the seller, or through the broker. 4. The buyer makes their way to the wormhole, and checks it out. If everything is as described by the seller (i.e. no online POSes), they confirm this to the broker. 5. The Broker then sends the ISK to the seller, minus the fee (10%).
Thus for a small amount of extra money (5% each) safety is guaranteed for both party.
Small Print
* The brokerage fee is non-refundable * If the wormhole is not as described or has any online towers that are not part of the agreement, the broker returns the ISK to the buyer, minus the broker fee. * The broker is not responsible for anything other than guaranteeing the above fact. While such occurrences are unusual, the broker is not responsible for any eviction or attack on the new wormhole dwellers.
