I was day dreaming and a thought crossed my mind,
Most people like frigates because of there many uses.
I thought of a new type of frigate that i think would be cool.
Command Frigate - A Assault frig on steroids, it would have about 25% more HP than a assault frig and have 1-2 more bonus's.
It would Not be able to support command mods, but would have its own specific gang bonus's per Command Frig level like:
Amarr:
+2% armor per command frigate level
+2% resists per command frigate level
Gallente:
+2% weapon damage per command frigate level
+2% Drone damage per command frigate level
Minmitar:
+2% range per command frigate level
+2% weapons tracking per command frigate level
Caldari:
+2% Shield resists per command frigate level
+2% Missile damage per command frigate level
I made up some bonus's that would give a small edge but in no way overpowered.
What does everyone think?

The dev's have said numerous times that command frigs won't debut until Tech III hits.

Will tech 3 hit?
I don't like the idea of hardwired gang bonuses, and I definitely don't like the idea of a frigate that's tougher than an assault frigate. Those things are mean enough on their own.

Maybe as a new tech 2, but should NOT be stronger than the current AF's. AF's sould be the most hardenned class of frigates. The command Frigs should maybe be a tech 2 variation of the support style frigates (Griffin, Crucifier, Maulus, and Vigil). Though I'm not sure I'd call them command frigates. That could be too confusing with the actual command ships. Maybe something like a Tactical Frigate or something. Too small to actually 'command' a fleet, but can certainly provide some tactical assistance to a squadron. This would also provide an earlier stepping stone to logistics/command style ships.
