Hello CSM and CCP,
I, a Active gambler at IWANTISK.com would like to ask you to unban IWANTISK.com. I know the guys
working there, mainly Iwantisk himself does his best to make sure the site runs smoothly and without problems of any kind. If any problems came up then this was delpt with.
They have also been amazing to the community such as:
- large contribution to a prize at EVESTERDAM
- a 100bil giveaway at fanfest for the EVE Valkery tournament, which CCP ''couldn't'' even give a shoutout for at their presentations.
and much more!
I Know from personal chats that IWANTISK puts his hard and soul into coding nice things for the website and it would be a shame to see the time / effort go to waste!! Also lets not forget about the community the site has build, who have been very calm through out this whole event.

if by anychance ccp, has any answer to why iwantisk got black list, it will be nice or profesional of them to let at least the moderator of iwantisk a reason for the blacklist we all gamble and its our isk that we lose anyways, not their to waist i have lost millions of isk and won but it a good distraction while mining ot doing missions, i lost an onyx and other ship by that distraction my fault for not paying attention, stop being snobbs and at least be man enought to give them at least a reason why.

and as a sside note... someone there prolly has a gambling addiction and is just taking out some personal war on the site. It is the only logical reason and a poor one at that. CCP is not the police nor the help line, you run a game, the rest is for us to do. Stop blocking legitimate sites

Why would you blacklist the work of a man who put su much time to serve the community and make your game more attractive to a certain niche of players who enjoy gambling their hard earned ISKs ?
Would it not be of IWI and a lucky streak in my very first month as a EVE player, I would probably not play anymore today as grinding for ISKs with the ways available to new players was not really attractive to me. I managed to fund a first PLEX which allowed me to finally enjoy the game as ISKs was not a concern anymore, and now I paid for a 6 months subscription and I doubt my EVE career will end there. Every single months I will pay for in the future, may it be in ISKs or with real money, you will directly benefit from them. Every months I will pay for, you owe them to IWI and the opportunity they gave me to fund just enough game time to discover the game and finally enjoying it.
You at least owe them a response. That would be the least thing to do considering what I Want Isk (both the player and the casino) are doing for the community. |

Well yes, of course. And I would imagine IWANTISK can start using the API to confirm accounts from now on. Trust in the IGB is just the simpler method. Easier for pilots. |

Correct, there are complete and easy workarounds to the entire blacklist but I do not want to release these in the case that there is indeed a security flaw somewhere in connection to the in-game browser. Waiting for an answer is all I have been doing for IwantISK.com and paying bankers to bank. Keeping an eye on things still but not advancing on anything.

As a regular user and winner on iwantisk.com, I too would like it either removed from the blacklist or at least a reasoning given to the site owner. There's no way I could've afforded at the time the ships that have flown home from Raffle wins, or the ISK that came from the slot machines that paid the way towards many other ingame shiny toys I fly, use and break along the way. There's not a single solitary time I've felt 'scammed' or 'rooked', and all withdraws and item wins have arrived as promised. I can't even say that about the local snail mail postal service!
+1 un-blacklist iwantisk.com or give the site owner the reasonings for the ban and how to fix those issues so we can waste ISKies while mining and bemoaning AND celebrating the life of an Industrialist using the ingame browser.

IWantISK should never have been blocked. If the site had broken ANY of the rules, they should have been notified. They also should have recieved a responce from CCP telling them why they were blocked and if/when they would be unblocked. |

As a Veteran player I can't understand why CCP always ban the good parts of the game, Iwantisk has been a fun way to kill some time when mining and it is up to the player to spend isks or not the universe of EVE is a player driven marketplace don't change that compare to old days in this universe its much harder to earn your isks in time consuming gaming so the player driven sites as iwantisks give you a chance to take a shortcut to some billions now and then , dont destroy this unban Iwantisk pls! |

I agree that it is totaly unfair to blacklist iwantisk for no reason if there is a reason then communicate it with iwantisk etc if there is no good reason then what the hell.......
ccp are usually very good at communication with players and supporting 3rd party developers but in this case you seem to have just gone silent which i say is not fair so pls ccp either fix the problem or atleast communicate what the issue or reason is so we understand. |

As one of the BANKERS of IWantISK.com, I know for shore all deposits and withdraws ppl make are being done correctly and when it comes to coding and randomness of the raffles/slots I guarantee the site owner and our corp CEO: I Want ISK / Eep, has always been fair and prompt at resolving any problem that came along may it be a BUG or any sort of unwanted situation.
In this case by CCP not responding and not giving any reason of why they blacklisted our site on the in-game browser not only made our bankers jobs more demanding but also took out our new costumers possibility to REGISTER accounts and also made the old ones not able to use their in-game browser while playing EVE and also not able to access their account proper, like changing their passwords for example.
All in all, we, the bankers support our community and our CEO in this call to CCP to at least tell us why the blacklist was applied and work with Eep to fix it if it was just a precaution measure or a way to put us on hold for security reasons. (and here I think and hope I have the approval of all the other bankers that work for IWISK )

Just woke up this morning and was reading Facebook. Came across this article and it may explain what is the reasoning behind the block. I have no affiliation with the site, not advertizing it, just thought it might be relevant to the conversation and topic at hand. IF the accusations in the article are true, and RMT is involved, then the block and possible BAN should happen. I know it probably isn't the best idea to post a view that goes against the grain, but most people wanted to know why they were blacklisted at least. Maybe this is why?

Again, I am in no way associated with this article or site, just stumbled across it in the article in the Eve Online group on Facebook. In the comments on the piece it does state it was a rouge banker at Iwantisk that was doing the RMT and the owner of Iwantisk was not aware of it. Maybe the blacklisting is a temporary punishment handed down by CCP rather than the permanent one like another site? |

As one of the lazy players who just can't be bothered with mining or manufacturing, buying Plex is my primary ISK income. Losing half of it (and we're talking 10+ billion a month) to I want ISK and making it back the fun way is one of the main reasons I'm throwing $$$ at CCP. So this site makes you money.
Of course there will always be butthurt players losing their tiny 'wealth' on IWI, b*tching about it on every available channel - but those are just a handful. The rest had and is having fun.
Dear CCP: Please whitelist iwantisk.com again. Or at least give an explanation why it was blacklisted in the first place : )

It isn't hard to just tell me what is going on so I can work on improving that aspect.

Hi not been playing EvE very long but heard about some of the scams etc within the game.
I was abit suspicious of iwi at first but soon came to realise it's actually a very strong and honest community .
On TS3 for instance everyone it seems are welcome people chat and it can be a really bloody good laugh ,
EEP for what it's worth when pressed about payouts etc always stresses iwi's transparancy and will
often link chat to the graphs showing all the odds etc .
I play slots any isk i'v put in/out has always been handled very well I ain't gonna call shenanigans on these guys noway.
CCP please at least give a clear reason why iwantisk is black listed from the ingame browser it's really the least you can do.
One other thing seems a bit strange how i can access p.orn from the ingame browser but can't watch some slot machine reels spin ! |

Yes, we should all place our utmost faith and trust in an article written by someone with no grammatical skills and a failure to differentiate between "your" and "you're" in the title of the article.
What I heard was that CCP has a new security scan or something and the I want isk site failed a check by that software, that's what got the site black listed in the IGB, if it had been RMT at the scale implied by the article, or anything else aside from the two bankers who did get banned for it, then the entire corp/members/accounts/ect ect would have been banned.
of course this is just my opinion based on the information I have been given, if there's something outside of that, that changes the assessment, I am not aware of it.

What I would like to say may or may not be want anyone want's to hear but you asked for it, iwantisk. If I were CCP, an for the best intrest of CCP, Iwantisk would of been blacklisted long ago!!! Don't get me wrong iwantisk.com is an enjoyable site as long as you don't look to win. It also boost PLEX demands which CCP love's, but iwantisk hasn't been completely honest with it's gamers, thus CCP has blacklisted them. Why? You ask!!! Because CCP has that right and without reason, regard or response. Yeah, I know it must suck for iwantisk now, but you made your bed now lye in it. Why would I say such a thing? Well, for the same reason CCP has blacklisted the site. It's really too late to save face by demanding a reason/response from CCP, you already know why the blacklist. You've corrected the issue which resulted in the blacklist, SUPER, GREAT, AWESOME but as you say "a little too late". Now with that said, I would love to have all the cards laid out on the table, including CCP's and iwantisk's reasons, so I knew the truth. We all know that'll never happen, because that tends to get messy (w/ legal actions)! There you have it, my opinion and request to know exactly what happened, not only to CCP but to iwantisk as well. |

I always have a blast on IWI, although sometimes it's so much fun I really need to keep my isk together. One could say, it's educational how easy you can get drawn into the "just another spin".
Well, if protecting the users against gambling addiction is the reason for blocking, at least make that clear.
If it's the ad for gofundme (asking for help for the funeral costs) that got the site blacklisted - well, that'd be a really poor reason.
As far as I can see it the site hasn't done anything to interfere with the operation of the EVE servers.

I have won fairly big on the I Want Isk gambling site and due to that, I have been able to help out more people then I can count, which has caused most to stay in Eve instead of unsubbing.
I have assisted newbros, sister corps, and the alliance financially so that we can continue to help the Newbro, Newbie, and Bittervet alike all have fun in Eve. Blacklisting the site puts a stigma on it and negatively impacts it from a market standpoint. Since this site consistantly upstands it's competitors in terms of payout methods, rewards, and community involvement, CCP is negatively effecting the Eve community with the blacklist.
So please work with the I Want Isk owner and figure this out. The impact on the community is far greater then you would suspect at first glance. |

Yeah the dude has hundreds of alts just to post here. If you go to the IWI chat channel in game they have 100-200 people in there regularly. Though it is odd, IWI has developed it's own community and this whole situation is effecting them (along with those from other communities that those individuals are in).

Sadly the reality is that CCP doesn't owe us any explanation for anything that's deemed a security issue, or even an EULA issue, in fact, there's very little in relation to this game that they "have an obligation to explain" to us.
It would seem prudent for them to let the IWI owner know what is up so that they can address it if this has not already happened, and this thread will serve to let CCP know that there are folks who are interested/concerned with the issue on both sides of the unblock request, but outside of that, this thread is merely academic at this point as CCP will not unblock the site if the issue isn't rectified and/or if the original problem is one that got the site perma-banned from the IGB no matter how much we protest.
anyway, just thought i'd add this in so that those who do read the thread will be reminded that just because we've stated our opinion here doesn't mean that anything will change.

I'm to unblock the site too.
I think the reason why CCP blocked the site is that Iwantisk.com get Data Access without any API data.
You register in the ingame Browser and the site get the Data without an api key. I think thats the problem why they blocked the site. |

well maybe if he read it and understood it then he wouldn't have been blacklisted (not saying it's easy to understand but it does state associated with any thing that goes aginst the rules of CCP (maybe the Fact he promotes a Twitch.tv user with 100's of billions of isk each week that doesn't even attempt to stream the game rather than ask for subs so you can enter the raffles (the points to enter a raffle are twice what you earn for just watching the same time) ie 1 ticket =5 points every 2-3 minutes you earn 2 points evey 10 to 20 minute Subs get more and get bonus point each month that they sub

Production was underway but a lot of people know that I have been very sick recently and have been unable to work.
ALSO, as soon as I started feeling better and moved to a new place with an office, I got demoralized with the blacklisting.
Coding will continue to improve the site if this blacklist is lifted.

then you have clearly not paid attention, I have watched him as well, he talks to, comments with, laughs at, and all kinds of other things to both subs and non-subs, he is not rude, however, he has no problem telling people not to send him sob stories begging for isks and telling people not to be arsehats, and generally, he's much more polite about it than I would be if it were me...
I have chatted with him before and after i subbed and he's answered me and not answered me as he was able to, I have seen him stream World of Warships, Reign of Kings, some new thing another streamer plays and EvE...
Not sure what stream you've been watching, but it is clearly not the one I have been watching for months and months..
additionally, your comment about never running out of iron is wrong too, I've done it on unlimited raffles and had to earn more by being in the channel...
as stated, perks to subs is a constant across the board with twitch streamers, so why would you complain about that in iron's stream?, why not try to lambaste EVERY streamer who does the exact same thing? (IE. it is a level playing field)
please stop twisting things to suit your own perception, you are being rather disingenuous with the way you leave facts that are relevant out in order to portray IWI in a bad light as opposed to being fair with your assessment.

Not that CCP listens or cares about what the customer wants, however, either unblock iwantisk.com or post what they have to fix they think is a security risk.
Nothing nebulous (there is too much of that in the game...really not that many nebulas in a cosmic nursery), clear and to the point - nothing like, we are working on it or fix your site.
If the site is infected, none of the regular tools are throwing up complaints. |

I know people are quick to harp on any negative comments but I do actually share some of the same resentments about some of the sites practices. I.E. taking donations toward the funding of coding to work on features that never actually get done, and then having excuses each time. Promoting streamers who constantly advertise to subscribe to their channel stating it gives you a better chance to win, to me that is a form of RMT in a away. I supported the unblocking of the site because I do enjoy playing, dont get me wrong but the amount of "donate this,donate that" gets a bit old. |

That is something that people choose to support or not support honestly. Donations are donations.
The features will be worked on and the excuses I've had I would say have been reasonable.
I still have my health problem but will continue to code while addressing my health first.

Usually the last level of the tens places (10, 20, 30, 40) is the hardest to get. It is actually easier to get to level 41 than it is to get to 40. This means after you hit 40 and get a real nice bonus, you will get to 41 and 42 much more easily.

He is still working on it.....if you go to the Grid section you can see how much he has improved on it. I assume that the loss in the family mixed with him moving and the blacklist all slowed down his progress. |

I have to say I am happy to see this issue get resolved. I know the error/mistake did impact a lot of players as well as the IWI staff.
Good job to CCP for getting this sorted out in a fair amount of time. Sure faster would have been better for the users & site operators - but considering the likely complex issues of getting a "security" flagged issue fixed I think we are lucky that communication got the issue resolved.  |

It's a cyclical investment. We don't want you broke because then you don't play. We want to keep you coming back, so it's in our best interest to provide our players with as many opportunities to win as possible, while still maintaining a small profit margin to keep the doors open.
Iron's stream is completely legitimate in the way it's operated. There is a point system, which you earn by viewing the stream, whether he's Live or promoting someone elses stream. These points can be used to bid on raffles/games such as the PLEX/ISK drawings. You will earn enough points to bet on every single raffle just by viewing the stream and nothing extra.
This doesn't require a Subscription.
However, IF you subscribe, you gain access to special things like cool emoji's next to your name to show you're a supporter, the ability to request songs to be played during the stream, and the ability to skip songs you hate.
You do NOT get ISK or pizes for subscribing. You do NOT get any advantages. You do NOT get put in any sort of "priority list" for drawings. I subscribed to support my friend, and to be able to request funny songs during the stream. Even as a good friend of Iron's, and an IWI Big Banker, and a Moderator.. I still couldn't request songs without subscribing because that's how the bot is setup.
You're not expected or rewarded (via EVE) for being a subscriber though. It's only Twitch benefits. |

Contrary to popular belief in this thread it was not accidental. IWantIsk was being investigated for RMT and it's CCP's policy to blacklist in that situation. Once bans had been issued the blacklist was removed.
This was about RMT not an accident. |

A couple of bankers being banned for RMTing has nothing to do with I Want Isk's site or coporation. They do a job, they get paid and what they do with their ISK is their choice. If they decide to break the rules and RMT, they WILL be removed from I Want ISk and reported for RMTing so that CCP can handle it on their end too. |
