Iv just checked and he has over 20k posts.
It's clear he spends WAYYYYYY too much time on the forums here, so why not put him to some use!

Because people with forum warnings are not eligable (sp) for the mod squad.
I'm sure he has gotten at least one by now

Not really. You can be a mod under 5 warnings and it is unnatural to forum ***** without a warning. CCP only likes the good *****s. :P

Yes i thought of that, but no human could possibly post as much as he does with that char then go and do it with the other.... unless......

DS is a forum mod. Some of us has narrowed it down to one of three mods, that show up from time to time....
Free-form Professions, ensure no limetations on professions. Be a trader, fighter, industialist, researcher, hunter pirate or mixture of them all.

To answer the question, you'd have to know why anybody would want to be a forum mod in the first place.
Surely the last people who should be given any power are those who seek it.
Having said that, Forum Moderators have power on a forum, as they say where I come from, "Big Deal".
Put home addresses in loss and killmails. Maybe then the community will find a way to control themselves a bit better. |

Forum mods get to mod with an alt, not their main. If you think about it, there's a whole lot of good reasons for that.

just because someone is here more than any mod and posts more frequently does not mean he has the level head or sense (especially is DS's case) to be a moderator :D
I wouldn't being a moderator, but i dont have the skills that the application sheet specifies :(

Meh, I wasn't going to respond for the fun of it, but I guess I will to answer some questions.
Why not?
1. I would have to abandon this persona, I guess--I would have to post under a moderator name, and nobody would know who I was. And I really don't feel like creating two "forum warrior" characters--way too much work.
2. I have been warned/banned too many times in the past, mostly for minor infractions. I've gotten much better about it lately, but the simple fact is that the rules say that you can't have been banned if you want to become a moderator. I would not be surprised if they would be willing to make an exception, but I can't be bothered, to be honest.
3. I'd have to be officious. Every word I say would be taken as gospel. I'm wrong too often for that
Put simply, even if there were no barriers to me becoming a mod... I don't think I'd really want to.
P.S. This thread pops up on a regular basis, every month or two
