My vote is for Derek Smart, the idiot behind the Battlecruiser series and Universal Combat, some of the best games if you rank high for bugs and lack of customer support. Plus his attitude on the forums when a new player asks a question is RTFM. READ THE FU***NG MANUAL always. He said that to me, I read it, and said I couldnt find the answer. Next day I was banned from the forums. Not to mention he has gotten an even larger hatred group behind him with his long history of smacktalk all over forums and usenet. Plus his Ego is large than TomBs (<3) Look up Derek Smart on Yahoo or Google and you can find a few websites, and there is one that is the database for all of Derek's idiocies and parodies created about him Back off he's mine. He could win developer, since he single handidly developed that entire gameline. (which shows you need a team who knows what their doing to make a game) Only part I liked from Universal Combat was the entire crew system. That was the only part I ever liked, aside from when it CTDed and I lost like...34 hours of a game so who will the winner of most hated Developer be. I dont like SOE because they RUINED planetside horribly, kept adding more content and never making fixes for the requirements. Though EA also is a contendent because they release the same thing over and over, with minor changes, under a different name each year. Though that is a efficient money scheme since people buy it just for the fact it, in their mind, would be better than the version from the year before. Back off he's mine. All Mine --Eris

How a game released so long after can look and play so horribly worse than Master of Orion II.. shudder Granted, I doubt any other game will ever reach the level of utopia that is MoO II, but to release such a wretched piece of beta garbage under that most hallowed name... Company? Mythic. They have betrayed the council and joined with Melkor, who is EAgoth, Black Foe of the World. (Also, ask me about Trials of Atlantis if you want a ten page post of rant.) I promptly became disgusted with EI and quit.

I've never played the game, and don't plan to, but from the many, many, many stories I've read, you really can't imagine a group of devs more disconnected from their game than that. Its just the SWG devs that are bad. The Eq2 and Eq1(Back when Eq1 was new.) are amazingly awesome. Although the Eq2 devs seem to be leaving one after another..Most of the cool ones are still there though
