We had a couple of skirmishes on stations/gates with various folks a few hours before the system flipped. We totally stomped a larger minnie fleet on the undock of their staging station in Anka, trading two ships for most of theirs, and had some neat fights with neutral fleets before and after that.
Unfortunately, no-one felt like staying up till 4AM, and the system was eventually flipped while we were asleep. gfs all round though.
I think a few of our pilots captured the main fight on video. I got some fights for the system a few days beforehand, but nothing that day, as nVidia updates decided to switch Shadowplay off. Will see what I can get onto Youtube in the next couple of days. |

Who's Loaded Dice?
zkillboard says Loaded Dice (at 136 members) for the month of June they have about ~60 some kills and ~60 some losses. Hoplite Brigade (at 151 members) has ~600 some kills and ~700 some losses. MCF1B (at 83 members) has ~900 some kills and ~150 losses. It doesn't seem like Loaded Dice actually play by comparison to two of the bigger entities in the Min/Amarr FW zone.
I mean congrats for taking another system. But considering it is claimed to be the fortress system of a group that has a tenth of the kills and losses of other FW entities in this thread, it feels like you staked a claim in an empty house at downtime when everyone in other houses was asleep.
Good job?

It was empty but the fighting woke them up :)
Frankly I'm claiming a strategic win in that the system was being dedicatedly contested by virtually all the Amarr Militia entities active today. The distance from our normal staging zones made life hard whilst it was in very close proximity to Amarr staging systems turning the whole affair into a defacto siege.
The length of time that it had been in Amarr Militias hands is an indication of how tricky it can be for us to assault deep within Amarr territory. The only system that looks similar in the Gal/Cal WZ is for the Caldari to capture would be Hallanen (600ish days occupied and in a region of Gal mil strength) but then I don't know much about that side of things.
If the Amarr mil want to let them do the 'Didn't want that system anyway' posts.

In fairness, we live 10 jumps away through some of the busiest parts of the warzone. That's why we only managed to stop you bashing the hub 5 times.

Loaded Dice seems to have left the warzone in favor of joining the pirate alliance Asylum. I wish our new neighbors good luck, sometimes the editing room can be a bit noisy. |

Loaded dice are a shadow of what they were. Only a few of their member base are active as their kill board shows and from what I understand those who are still playing live in huola now days not tannakan. So counting tannakan as a fortress system is false.
Only system that warrants that tag presently is las due to PYREs presence. The kam-kourm-auga cluster is fairly strong but not worthy of fortress as of yet.
Minmatar may be losing many individual fights vs the Amarr but they have the active pilots to come back again and again until their goal is achieved. winning the battle does not mean you win the war. There is little stomach on the amarr side to commit to plexing fleets to push the warzone back currently mainly due to a lack of willing FCs for militia fleets.
all credit the minmatar FCs for having such high activity in their push for warzone control. We shall see in the coming weeks and months if you can go the distance and what the amarr can do in response.
I hope to see you active near kamela again soon :) |

I would have put Sahtogas on the list as well surely? NEOs, OMG and Flex Point hold that system?
Frankly my only concern is that the farmers abandon ship before we can have as much fun as we can.

I don't think all of NEOS and Old man lives in Sahtogas just some of there pilots, although flexpoint do but they are neutral russians who are friendly to NEOS and OMG.
Perhaps I suppose it should be put in a similar bracket with kam/kourm/auga cluster. It would be awkward to take but that all depends on the attacking force and there level of organisation.
Farmers wont "abandon" ship until your at T2. The more immediate effect will be that as the number of systems for them to O plex reduces as you bash them more of them will move over the the Cal/gal warzone. And of course the mission running farmers.
Also quite how you attribute the farmers to any level of fun baffles me completely. Fun, in my opinion, comes from fights between 2 fleets who both have a reasonable chance of success and thus stay on field for a decent amount of time. |

The farmers keep our chances of outright victory alive by freeing up as many of the 'real' Mini Militia as possible for offensive operations instead of us d-plexing.
The more of our pilots we have available for offensive ops the more likely we will be to bottle Amarr militia up into their main bases and that they will undock and fight in force to defend their homes etc
Therefore - fun for both sides.

By "You Can't Be Serious?", they're referring to the fact you think Scope Works are ~friend~ material. Topfuckin'lelbro. I listened to your comms during Burn Huola. I'm surprised you guys didn't self destruct listening to him sperge boiz. I almost did and I wasn't even in your fleets (For the most part).

This News Update Brought to You By the Scope Works! Scope Works: News now with 100% more anti-matter!
Today readers we have another update from the Amarr and Minmatar warzone! Last night two consecutive fighting fleets one advised by Anslo and the other by Kalo Askold dug right into the heart of the Amarrians and the pirate factions patrolling the warzone! During the first fleet Anslo helped the Minmatar Fleet commander and a group of Minmatar fighters to circle outposts at an undisclosed location; matching the onslaught of Darma Sutra until their Confessor class destroyers began to fall one after the other. Each one cut down allowing more Minmatar to live and continue to capture the objectives until all outpost signals in the system were turned.
The Second fight was against the Asylum and former members of Loaded Dice, bringing in cruisers against the MinmatarGÇÖs Frigates and Destroyers. However as one frigate went down, a cruiser was exchanged and turned into scrap. Tit for tat until the cruisers had to leave the system dwindling down to more and more pods. It was then that Anslo needed to step down, his job done and the Minmatar left to take objectives in relative peace.
Kalo AskoldGÇÖs fleet took another approach, softening up the warzone while the rest of the Militia could continue to take systems without many large fleets around. The pilot taking frigates and destroyer class ships and leading them into the heart of Pyre and the Asylum; only to destroy both fleets.
Within Lasleinur Pyre tried to match the frigates and destroyers with a fleet of battlecruisers and cruisers; only to die on the gate they just appeared on. The use of the Jackdaw by Morathia and Riker557118 to capture the enemy Fleet commander to force them to stay; and the use of energy destabilizers tore into the battlecruisers until they simply were grinded into space debris!
However as the fleet continued, Pyre tried to counter with the use of Federation Navy Vexors; one of PyreGÇÖs pilots claiming itGÇÖs because a single griffin using multi-spectral ECM was too damaging against any fleet that was not spider tanked at its core. KaloGÇÖs fleet quickly departed to Todifrauan for revelries and a break to refuel and rearm; the Vexors unwilling or unable to follow.
As the fleet continued Kalo Askold commanded the fleet to continue onwards towards Huola hoping for a fight and to keep Asylum within their own system. With Pilot Morathia commanding the smaller scout fleet, it was quickly found that Asylum was engaging another pirate corporation; the Minmatar fleet quickly pouncing on both and obliterating everything in its path while suffering minimal losses.
However, with all the good comes the bad. Kalo Askold's fleet was filled with neutral parties, soon as if by a cruel fate a Minmatar fleet lead by Hopilite Renee Chanlin was face to face against the larger fleet lead by Kalo Askold. WIth Kalo Askold warning them the FoF indicators were not set and to be careful some Minmatar pilots still fired upon her fleet, leading Ms. Askold to make a decision to target call against her own comrades to keep the neutral allies from falling to the cruisers and frigates trying to assault those she was leading. While regrettable, no losses were suffered by her side thanks to the support of logistics.
Thank you dear readers for your continued support for the Scope Works News Updates

You make it sound like the decks were stacked against you when it was 5v20 and one of those 20 was a Falcon. You also had burst logi I think? I don't remember 100%.
You guys did beat us, but it's not like it was even numbers and we were like "CRUISERS!". We had 5 guys, we heard dessies+frigs, and figured why not give it a shot. You proceeded to trash talk us after your falcon decloaked and we lost reps and subsequently broke.

Right well...tears alert I guess :(
Looks like our little offensive in Huola will need to fall by the wayside. We gave the system a good run however as with many things in a militia the lowest common denominator can drag everyone else down to their level.
We had all sorts of madness FCs on the original push in one timezone simply were not continuing the attack and the rest of us did not notice until it was too late. Neither did they have the courtesy to tell us what they were doing... Through ought the second offensive (after some copious ranting by yours truly) we did much better. However there were still problems...for example one lunatic even had the gall to assume command of the assault fleet whilst the main FC had a 15 minute break for lunch and instead of continuing the attack TOOK THE WHOLE FLEET TO NULL SEC. It took the returning FC over an hour to extract them again...
With friends like those who needs Amarr Militia right? We had a few characters like that who put their own lack of attention span above the hard work of the militia FCs and pilots who fought hard in recent days and allowed the slavers to recover ground quickly. I am going to have to make a conscious effort not to Awox those guys when I'm next in fleet with them. Also disappointing that enough militia pilots listened to those clowns to derail things.
Gf to The Asylum, No Handlebars and the other pirates we had to fight constantly. Had some fun times. Plant potty or whatever you name is I hate your Incursus. Please link the fit to me!
Gf to PYRE when they came around. Very well done to Old Man Gang in Caldari Militia and Neos Fleet of Amarr Militia. Do you ever ever give up? Really frustrating bunch of people.
Onto the positives though.
A big o7 to the militia FCs who pushed the system hard many of whom flew through multiple timezones and burned the midnight oil to make things work you are legends and I hope you get some well deserved rest!
Also massive kudos to our logistics and industrial teams who have performed quiet heroics all their own without (much) complaint.
Obviously thanks to all the militia pilots who kept forming up and sticking to the plan. The best FC in the world is nothing but a chatty soloist if they don't have solid and skilled pilots at their back!
I think it is worth noting that such a sustained and co-ordinated assault in the face of such opposition by Mini Mil when we are down numbers would have been outright unthinkable 3 months ago. We have all come a long way hopefully as our veterans and command staff come back to full strength after the summer has finished distracting us all we can take another shot at it.
I'm going to have a rest! I guess my assets in Huola will have to wait a bit longer in the 24 IC hanger! |
