Hello,
A while ago i was blasting the first 2 stages of a 5/10 drone complex in my thorax, never ventured fearther as it took me a long time to down that bs (i don't have very good hybrid skils).
Now i moved to another region and here are several 5/10 compelxes that i would like to run with a few corp mates.
I was thinking of this gang setup:
-1 vexor with perma running med repper as tank and blaster+drone dps as added drone commander killer
-1 caracal as long range sniper (over 100km) for taking out the sentrys
The vexor will take drone agro and kill the agroed drones with it's own drones and help from the caracal while keeping away from the sentrys. After the majority of the drones are dead the caracal will take out the sentrys and then we proceed to kill the overseer(s).
This will work for sure on the first 3 stages but what about the rest?
Is a med repper enough to tank long enough forus to kill stuff deeper into the complex? (resists are omni at about 52% with em at 70%)
I scaned and i found a sentry commander or something like that, what can u guys tell me about that one?
All intel regarding the 5/10 drone compelex would be apreciated.

EDIT:
I read in another thread that a t1 indy can't enter the complex, is this still the case?
If it is will an exequror be enough to collect all the alloys? (cruiser lvl4 and t1 expanders)

You can fit the entire plex of loot in a single t2 tranport ship, I think it was around 10km3.

The help is much apreciated.
With my original plan we only managed to go as far as the 4th pocket where the 6 drone BS scared us away. It seems indeed that only a sniper gang will cut it.
The smartbomb setup sounds very interesting but as i don't have acces to that expensive type of smartys, will have to be placed on hold untill more isk can be gathered to this task.
We will probably use a 2*gedon + raven combo to advance faster or gedon+raven+exequror for better looting power.
