Ore Mongers Recruitment Statement

The past
Ore Mongers has since it's inception over seven months ago achieved great many goals, beyond our expectations. We've gone from a tiny corporation in Hysera, barely able to hold ourselves together. To a stronger, more managed corp with experience of some of the harshest environments of EVE-ONLINE.
In the past, as it were - we focused more on piracy, we've operated both in Khanid/Querious/Citadel/Verge Vendor/Placid/Syndicate and Essence. Seldomly in deep space, 0.0. And mostly hunting belts, while in our latter part of our existence in Essence, we gatecamped quite a bit. (Particularly in Obalyu/Parts).
We have since, left our former alliance, the Pirate Coalition, and have now taken on a new journey within the SMASH ALLIANCE. Our new stay is in the Geminate region.
The present
So, we are now recruiting new people to our corporation to fuel both our PvP and Industrial divisions. Each responsible for an integral part of the corp.
SMASH and R0ADKILL are two symbiotic alliances that engage in PvP -a lot-, so every member is expected to support this effort. You will, as a new member help support the war machine, but it's also vital that you can achieve your own personal goals. Individual freedom has always been one of my stronger points in leading this corp. - "But above all, it's about the family".
So, what can you expect from joining us?
* 0.0 Access. We live in non-secure space, which means that hostiles are oftenly abound. This is a challenge for those who prefer peace and quiet. This is NOT what your experience with us will be most of the time.
* PvP. Solo, small gangs, fleets, POS-wars, you name it. SMASH operates with a NBSI-policy. And piracy is allowed. OMG may just go on a corp pirate-op in low-sec from time to time, for old times sake, and for fun. "Call us free thinkers, we do not subscribe to conventional morality."
* Industrial pursuit. Ore Mongers has an industrial division that mines, manufactures, researches, invents, hauls... you name it. Geminate has 2 out of the three most wanted ores available in the game. If you can handle the 1,5+ million ISK battleship spawns, and the high-stakes areas, you can make a nice profit.
* Plenty of alliance ops. Nearly on a daily basis, there is a larger scale alliance op for different pursuits on the run. Some of them are mandatory for those that like the benefits of being in the alliance. Whereas others are simply for the fun of the fighting.
Who do we want

PVP:ers/(Pirates?)
If you like to fight, and can hack it. We might want you. As a "fun" factor of recruitment, you will be required to beat one of our pilots in a 1v1 combat prior to joining the corporation. Your opponent will be roughly your own character age, and fly an equal ship (currently frig/destroyer or cruiser) - if you manage to destroy our guy, you'll become an Associate in the corp. Pats on the back, and a round of welcomes.
You will need:
- At least 3 million skillpoints invested in combat skills. (Exceptions have been made from dedicated, honorable pilots).
- Able to support yourself. (Don't take for granted that someone will support you with hauling, helping, or similar - what you give is what you get some people get all the support they ask for, simply because they support the corp. and the alliance so much).
- Able to participate ACTIVELY, and be on TS/Ventrilo. (The broken mic-excuse is getting old).
Our current recruitment officer is: KayaYautja - contact him primarily. If not available, PvP directors and officers are: Samirol, Mirel Yirrin, and Zomiaen.

Industrials
Being an industrial in Ore Mongers usually means hard work, and dedication to the corp. But akin to everything that occurs in this corp, anything invested, will be mutually rewarded. Our lead industrials have made quite a nice profit for themselves, and have still been able to support the corporation.
For our industrial division, we mainly ask that you are willing to learn, and can adapt to this corporation's swings. There will be harsh times, and those who join will either understand that this is a process (think in the long run), or leave because they got blown up and had to throw a lot of drama about.
Those who stayed loyal, made back what they lost, times ten. As long as they understood what it's all about.
You will need:
- At least 2 million skillpoints invested in industrial skills. (Exceptions have been made from dedicated, honorable pilots).
- Able to support yourself. (Don't take for granted that someone will support you with hauling, helping, or similar - what you give is what you get some people get all the support they ask for, simply because they support the corp. and the alliance so much).
