Join the R-V-B Channel in game.
Ask/Join either side, read forums, get advice, put it to the test. The only real way to 'learn' to PvP is to fit a ship, grab your balls, and embrace your first few loss mails. Figure out what you did wrong, and learn from there; the people in RvB are pretty helpful in teaching you how to/how not to die gloriously in the name of spaceship violencing.
Find a frigate you love, and test it out.. rinse, repeat until your ready for a new frigate or you want to move to cruiser. During the learning process please eschew all thoughts of 'this is bigger, therefore better'. They will teach you the ins and outs of making bookmarks, getting warp ins, and general station game tomfoolery, but match fights are always fun.. and one of the few places you can get an honest 5v5, 8v8, or 10v10 (The M.O.A.B. fights are also alot of fun if you have the ISK to wager in an all out BS FFA).
The members of RvB occasionally hold in house contests for cash and prizes, winning faction frigs and a handful of nice mods that dropped is always a good thing. Lady Spank for C&P Moderator. |

Can never go wrong with a rifter, they're dirt cheap and effective. |

The Infamous Rifter Plan would be a good place to start your skill list. It could easily be adjusted for whatever frigate you want to start flying. |
