No, its a display bug. You'll find at the end of the 20 days, it won't be done. In fact, it'll probably correct itself when you relog.

For me this has always happened and stays like it unless i change to another skill or stop the skill training to plug new implants in, but as long as you leave it alone it stays as if you still have implants in
So if your pretty sure your going to die and have implants set a long skill and leave it running until you can afford new implants

I'm actually 99.9% sure your wrong. Skill training time calculations are done only when starting the skill. This is why when you clone jump, or plug in new implants you have to stop skill training, so a new calculation can be done taking into account the difference between clones (if one has implants and one doesn't) or the effect of the new implant on the skill you're training.
This is why if my current implant clone looks like it's going to get popped, I set cruiser 5 before it happens. (hasn't yet, but has been close on a couple of occasions :))

rumormill has it that Revelations fixes this problem by stopping skill training when you pop, and indicates it to you.
Can someone straight from SiSi confirm?

Youre wrong. I know out of experience, got pod killed recently and my skill just kept on training. It completed on the same day as it would while i still had the implants. -----

No, you're supposed to take screen shots if he's actually right for once... but since we know that isn't going to happen, you don't need to be waiting in the wings to snap that pic.

I can confirm this is wrong so far. I have been podded with implants and my skill finished on time.
After I learned about this little fact, I always put on a long skill training whenever travelling through chokepoints, because then I at least get the value out of the implants before I have to buy more.
.... or I just use a scout. Do I care if my 30,000 SP scout in a shuttle gets podded? Naw.

Wrong. Until you stop or start your skill, the timer keeps going as though you had your implants.
That's why you can't plug implants or jumpclone with a skill training: it needs them stopped to reset the timer, otherwise people would put a long skill on in an implanted clone and then jump into a non-implanted one to PvP in, getting all the benefit of implants with none of the risk.
Obviously, being podded is a more involuntary action, so they can't employ "asking you to stop" there.

Like everyone else, he does make mistakes, but the majority of the information he posts is useful, correct and on topic.
He also posts a lot helping out in New Players Q&A.
In other words, he is a lot more useful and worthwhile than you seem to be, so I'd keep it quiet.

I'm sure DS can take care of himself. Arguments lead to anger. Anger leads to hate. Hate leads to mods locking threads.

DS on his best day hasn't even come close to arguing well with me, and he knows full well not to get his feathers too ruffled since I'm not stabbing for blood and merely poking at him a little, there's no malcontent or venom in my words. We've argued a number of times on numerous subjects, and I'm just nudging him a little, if I was trying to flame him I would have done so.
On a side note however, if you can't take some playful ribbing on someone who isn't of your concern, then I suggest that you be quiet, as I will say what I wish and don't need you to presume to be my personal censor.
So now that that's settled, I'll file your opinion appropriately under "S" in my circular filing cabinet for safe keeping.
