Tranquility will have an extended downtime, Tuesday 28 November, running for 24 hours from 02:00 in the morning to 02:00 GMT Wednesday for the deployment of Revelations, Chapter I, the free expansion to EVE Online.
Revelations features many improvements, new features, content and a wealth of optmiziations and fixes both to server and client. Detailed patch notes and a features page will be available shortly.
We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause, and encourage training of a skill with a long training time.

just FYI, for safety's sake, make it a skill that'll last longer than 3 days.
TBH, I'd train BS 5 just in case.
Oh and perfect time to set deployment too, before lunch for me. Good luck you guys, and make sure Valar is kept fed and away from beer till after this is done

Surely 22 days will be enought to cover Kali1 deployment + crashes + bugs + crashes + crashes....

Battlecruiser 5 been training for most of November here. :) Won't be done until December 2, which I think is enough of a buffer. If ya'll remember the last time CCP said "24 hour maintenence", they were done in half that.

Are you guys sure this is a good idea?
When I was last on the test server, not long ago ..... a day or so...
the thing was still riddled with bugs, people in help talking about the very same issues, people posting the same issues on the forums.
How much thought was actually put into this?
Is the bottom line more important than fixing bugs/improving stability, etc?
You guys do a test run and now your ready to wing it?
From my perspective it looks, well, dumb.
Good luck at it, tho...... I hope you guys have something good in your hand that your not showing yet... based on my last few test server runs the last few days......
