quoted from TomB's sticky:
"Research Agents: Datacores can be bought of research agents for research points. There is how ever a max limit per day how ever to prevent the market flooding with datacores in the first days of Invention."
Fine, I guess, tought I don't see the possibility of the market being flooded as a bad thing, as it would have stabilised a few weeks after. But that limitation is going to bring up a huge problem for those that live in 0.0.
There is a limit to 4 datacores per day on Sisi. So, let's assume that post-kali, you, being part of a 0.0 alliance, have a huge stack of RP and want to try getting a few command ships/HAS/whatever, or selling some on the market. But because of that limitation, you can't buy them on go on your business, you have to spend days, maybe weeks, depending of the number of RP you want to convert, sitting in close proximity of your agents. You can't do that with an alt, and you can't just clone jump to do it, because of the 24h timer.
That problem will be eased with datacore sold on the market, but that mean:
- You can't use more than a small fraction of your own RP to do some invention - You can't sell your own datacores either, because that mean you have to be there to talk to your agent in the first place.
As long as that limit of 4/day will be there, it will be a bother for those that live in close proximity of their agents, and a HUGE pain in the butt of those that don't.
So, I hope you're considering upping that limit soon after kali launch, to, for example, 300/day, or that you'll remove it entirely... ------------------------------------------ Every ship has a base 60-70% resist against the primary damage type of the race that is the least able to vary it's damage types. |

The entire invention process looks like such a pain in the ass that people might just charge current prices due to al the rings they have to jump through.

Maybe that "feature" is there to encourage the use of alt accounts for R&D ?^^
No, seriously, I think its a svere limitation, but I got the solution:
How about your agent offers you 4 datacores per day which are added to a pool that builds up if you dont buy the whole number of 4/day.
e.g. after 2 weeks not visiting your agent he has 56 cores for sale etc.

Maybe this could be solved by allowing remote buying of datacores? ----------------------------------------------- http://www.uozone.net/files/cic/val4_eve.jpg Signature filesize exceeds max limit of 24000 bytes. Mail us if you have questions -Eldo |

That would work, too. ------------------------------------------ Every ship has a base 60-70% resist against the primary damage type of the race that is the least able to vary it's damage types. |

Aye, being able to talk to your RnD agent remotely and take the Datacore's so you can build up a pile then go and collect when you want.
Sounds like a good solution to me

I think that would be a happy(ier) medium indeed.
Protagonist must have an Antagonist. Otherwise he's just a guy playing with himself.
