In another thread I state that it would be foolish to use ACs on a Myr. Then... I stand corrected! 
I was using all Heavy Electron Blaster II and Ogre II with maxed gunnery skills bar specializations which I have at 4 and maxed drone skills bar specialization which stands at 4 yet lost to a Myrmidon with 5 medium drones (and more in reserve) and projectile guns with the skill at level 1. This shows that not only is it very possible to lose your heavy drones at close range, but that blasters just draw too much cap over time for the amount of pain they cause. The second point is consistent with all blaster ships in Kali. The vulnerability of drones has also been increased because there is longer for them to be killed during a fight, and it's preferable to do so while tanking your enemy. The payoff is that once the drones are dead, the target may as well be using snowballs or plain old harsh language because they'll never break your tank.

Did i mention a dual repairer Hurricane with maxed repairer skills and BC4 gets eaten alive by a myrmidon with heavies? I fought one and got killed as if the tank wasn't even there. I could have killed max 2 drones in the meantime, and that along the entire lifespan of my HP.
Sure, it's balanced.

I did. Meaning I tried to kill one and I did. With Medium Projectile at 1 no less... should be cake with T2 guns and T2 HAMs. I guess my superior drone skills compared to most Minmatar pilots are the difference? Or maybe I'm just that good of a pilot... I don't see why it's so hard, especially when it's only a 1v1 and you only have one target to manage.

it could lost a turret and still be used correctly.
Since it ony has 6 highs, giving it 5 turrets leaves it room for the gang mod.
