The first chapter of the Revelations expansion has been deployed and Tranquility has been opened. If you have any issues after the deployment, please check the Known Issues page to see if the Dev Team is already aware of it and submit a bug report. If you are unsure of what has been changed in this patch, please take a look at the Patch Notes page.
Please keep feedback constructive and on-topic. Negative or off-topic posts will be removed.
The Dev Team will be monitoring this thread throughout the next few days to keep abreast of the patch deployment and status. This post will be updated as the deployment progresses.
The Patch Notes were updated during the deployment, including the following entries: *A close range high damage alternative for missile users has been added. A new missile launcher type called the heavy assault missile launcher, 4 new tech 1 missiles and 8 new tech 2 missiles have been added. The launcher does not require a new skill for its use, but the new missiles require the Heavy Assault Missile skill. This skill has been seeded in Caldari and Minmatar space. *The Squadron Command skill has been renamed to Warfare Link Specialist. *Drones can not be ordered or provoked into attacking ships or other drones owned by their controller.

Originally by: Drakus i have one problem so far...
Can't install the patch?
Tried to install the directory i was using 2 days ago, but when it updates it gets to the splash.bmp file, can't find it, then crashes... i had the same problem with the test patch when i tried that in my test folder.
Whats going on? anyone know?
I had the same issue with test patch on sisi... I was not using the correct splash.bmp and once i put the correct one back the test patch installed fine...or just download full install..
edited for one handed typing...
You really shouldn't modify the client. Even if it just the splash screen it can mess with patching and is a violation of the EULA. ------ Valar Database admin - Server operations team CCP Games How to write a good bugreport |

The market is lagging a bit due to the database lag and the server settling in. I ended up purchasing 2 of the Heavy Assault Missile skill books because my wallet and assets didn't update in a timely manner. That said, anyone want to buy a HAM book?

We are losing both a few nodes and more seriously, proxy server processes. The cause of those issues is currently unknown, but rest assured that we are looking into it.
If we lose any more proxy processes we will have to do an unscheduled reboot of the cluster. ------ Valar Database admin - Server operations team CCP Games How to write a good bugreport |

If earlier posts seem to disappear, it is because I am going through the thread, consolidating the known issues into the original post and culling items as they have been consolidated and/or addressed.
Thanks for the great feedback and bug reports so far.

The original post has been updated with some information pertaining to some of the issues resulting from the Revelations deployment. The Dev team is working on resolving a number of issues and are applying hotfixes during server maintenance periods to restore playability for the community.

Wrecks not yellow'ish if you are not allowed to loot them unless getting criminal flag.
This is know and getting hotfixed next week, you can still fix this yourself;
- Go to overview settings
- Go to appearances
- Unselect the "Apply to ships only"
This will allow wrecks to become yellow if they did not belong to something that you shot down.

Originally by: JeanClaude DuSoir In a small fleet last night, I had the role of squad commander. I was unable to see my wing commander's health info. Per the dev blog...
- Fleet Commander will only see health bars of the Wing Commanders.
- Wing Commanders will only see the health bars of the Fleet Command and the Squadron Commanders in their Wing.
- Squad Commanders/Members will only see the health bars of their Squad Members and their Wing Commander.
If I was SC, shouldn't I be able to see WC health? I couldn't find where anyone else had reported this issue.
Also I was promoted to SC; I was not the original SC. The original SC had to leave. He did so. I was promoted by the FC. So it may be that an in-progress fleet is what created the issue. I wasn't able to build a new fleet from scratch to see if that solved the problem.
Thank you.
Were you and the WC in the same location? You have to see his ship/capsule in-space to see his HP.
