Honestly, I don't think they forgot. The new probe system needs a lot of work atm.

I'm trying to find out if the actual modules have been seeded anywhere. The BPO does not exist as a market item (nor does the one for the regular probe launcher). This has to be an error.
From what i've read the new probing system will work better, however, after a short test before - the Recon launcher is necessary for use with probes with a short flight time. Otherwise the probe disappears and the scan fails. Therefore atm it's impossible to do any decent ship hunting without it.  Help please.
