Edited by: Taes Valkiir on 29/11/2006 15:38:29 i know this has been problem has been posted before, but i've yet to get any of the suggestions to work 100% for me.
i am currently going to a college that blocks all gaming ports during the daytime, only opening traffic through those specific ports after 7pm, and shutting down again at 7am. really inconvenient when it comes to skillchanges, etc.
i currently have no access to an off campus server that i could setup one of these so-called SSH servers on. any searches for free shell accounts have yielded nothing productive.
also, my resnet works off of a campus proxy, so everything is going through sentineldorm.collegename.edu.
so. is there still a way for me to pull off port forwarding so i get EVE running during the day too?
at the moment i have tunnelier installed, and suspect that if i could get access to a free shell server, i'd be good to go.
thoughts?

short version: get a shell, putty to it with command line option -D 26000, use sockscap to relay eve to it, remember to put eve on lowest priority when doing so. :)

Don't know any free ones, but I use cotse.net with sockscap and ssh for eve and it works very well - they listen on several useful ports such as 22, 2222, 80, and 443.
They are not free sadly but costs about 5.95 for a single month which I find reasonable.
