I'm sorry to say that this is NOT true. This problem was effecting a smaller number of us prior to Revelations. For me it started IMMEDIATELY after the last small RMR patch. My AMD64 X2 system was playing EVE fine before that patch and only after did it start to CDT every third gate jump.

Much of what is being suggested now was thrown into the mix then. Some of the fixes worked for some people and not others, and even then to different degrees.

They provide the OS and the libraries to people who write code - who then make the assumption that the threading model is safe.

This is noted in at least TWO Microsoft tech bulletins - even THEY know it's a problem.

It's a problem with Call of Duty 2 - and Microsoft wrote that game.

Whilst I agree with this to some degree, the fact that this problem only started for me, and everyone else here, AFTER a patch from CCP implies that they have given us code that has introduced a problem. It is their responsibility, not Microsofts, to find a fix.
