Can someone confirm or deny if you can fit two rigs of the same type? like 2x +15% Armor Repair Amount?
And if not, if you can at least fit two rigs of the same kind, like +15% Repair Amount and -15% Repair Time?
The last thing i read about it in the kali forum was that it wouldn't work, but that could be as well because of some bugs that were in there at that time.
So i'm not relly sure about it right now.
Thx for answers. -- This game is still in beta stage |

I believe it SHOULD work. Such as putting 3x Salvage Rigs in to make an efficient but SLOOOOWW salvage ship

I can't recall about two of the type. Certainly you can install two of the same class.
The main thing to consider is the amount of calibration a rig takes. Each ship only has so many points of calibration available for fitting rigs. Hence a couple of rigs with high calibration will mean you run out requiring that 3rd rig slot run empty. I was initially able to fit 3 projectile rigs during early testing on my Hurricane. However as the calibration got tweaked I found I was generally only able to use 2 projectile rigs and nothing else as they were high calibration rigs.

you can fit two of the same type but not three or two of the same type and 1more of the same kind of rig, i tried it on test server. but all depends on rig cal points aswell!

It's like CPU on normal module, you have points, you use them until you run out. |

One thing I haven't been able to find is the amount of calibration on each ship. It really should be listed on the ship info and on the fittings window in station, but I couldn't see it last time I checked (admittedly on the test server a while back).

You can. Some rigs have stacking penalty.
The ones that normally stack; stack normally.

Can someone confirm if the no-3 thing is true? This is second time I've heard it mentioned.
Can I not fit 3 of RigX on my ship, even though it has 3 rig slots and enough calibration to support the three rigs?

To find Calibration info, you can show info on your ship go to the fittings tab and it will display it under CPU and Powergrid.
As far as what they do every rig requires a certain amount of calibration points to fit on any given ship, sometimes that means only being able to fill 2 out of 3 rig slots on a ship, on the toher hand you are able to fit a full rack fo rigs and have cali points left over.
Rigs imo calibration points are set based on the function and advantage the rig gives the pilot.

Not sure how it works bit I know this:
From what I see the tanking rigs are worth it. They seem to out weigh their bads. /me looks foward to getting some shield tanking rigs on his shiny new maelstrom.

You can fit three identical, at least with the engineering rigs.

So this guy (and the others that say you cant fit 3 of same mod) is just wrong? Where do they come up with this stuff if it's not true?
Also, can you remove rigs? Like implants remove them but they are destroyed? Or once they're in they're in and to free up the slots you have to repack the whole ship losing all rigs?
Thanks for replies.

Nevermind, got photo evidence that the people who say you cant fit more than 2 of same type are just plain wrong.
