Podruski Reflex.	Posted - 2006.11.30 04:30:00 - [1] Dear AXE, To start off this story, I was hanging out on the gate, when some genious jumps in with a freighter, un-escorted of course. I quickly scramble the Freighter, and call buddies to finish. First I convo, the client is unable to receive my request. So I think, LOL, shes logged and I havent even gotten to ransom yet. So I wait 30 seconds or so, and send another one. This time it opens. I ransom for 400m. "Insurance gives me 700m," he snarles, reveiling his severe case of gingivitis. After he leaves the convo, and I think, how rude, so I reconvo, hoping to get 200m or so out of the deal. Once again, hes logged. The ship promptly goes kaboom. (P.S. if you havent seen the wreck of a freighter yet, its something you have to do before you die, completely hilarious.) The characters name is Ambroshia, a member of CyberDyne Industries in Axiom Empire. Been around since 2003, and shes logging off, how sad, should know how cowardly the tactic is. Well, goes to show what AXE condones as viable pvp tactics. If only acsn couldnt grasp this, they might not be getting owned with a long, hot, pointy stick in the pupil. Love, Reflex.

PvP as it may have been, the guy has no guns and you're holding him, and if he made up his mind about all this; guess what, you're wasting his time too. So he can do...WHAT?! . . . The second log wasnt the issue, although he did get podded after he logged back on \o/. was the fact that the moron jumped into a low sec without scout or escort, and tried to fight it by using an exploit.

"us" Apparently doesn't include yourself, because obviously you fail to read that I'm very blatantly talking about the instance where he logged off while you were holding him. Even considering that, your post is still pure garbage..you killed a freighter..thats great. Congrats...heres a bottle of rum and a CD, enjoy. The first logoff..I don't know, I'd have probably done the same tbh. However I've never owned a freighter. I'm just guessing based on what one costs and their inability to accomplish anything in combat. Like before, get over yourself and just deal with the fact you didn't get any ransom money, but you got a freighter kill, which is good..just no money. Get your brain fixed and restarted and pay attention..And try to stay with me here, because it seems you fall off really easily. Here we go..easy does it: Panic..is a real thing. There are no age requirements associated with panic. Actually that might not be true..There might be a certain time in your life where you don't panic, regardless of almost anything. It's called being an infant, where your senses and brain are so undeveloped that you don't know 95% of the crap thats going on around you. Now if you're telling me you never panic, by saying the other guy was faking it, or atleast hardly ever panic..I don't know, what does that tell me?...I'll let you chew on that one for a bit. Of course the conclusion of that ain't true..of course you're not an infant, but hopefully you get the idea. If not..well....you missed out, it was a great party. Braincells a'tingling everywhere! It's very easy to panic if something is about to happen that you don't want to happen and you don't know any good solution off hand. You tend to often commit rash actions...It's true he shouldn't have done it, and if it's such a big problem for you; I'd quite honestly suggest you petition him for it..no seriously. I mean it. I would, if someone abused an exploit and I knew about it. By then it's their problem if they can explain it to the GM's as to why they did it. By saying "their" I mean the fictional person I hypothetically petitioned for abusing a fictional exploit. Saying that, just to make sure you're still on for the ride. You're going to panic in your life, and most probably have before..and I know right here and now that as a result of your panic attack, NO ONE has come to you and said "stop acting like you're 12". Even if he didn't panic and did it, full well knowing he was abusing an exploit, doesn't make him act nor be a child, nor does it make any sense to tell him to go play WoW. Like again, and ill try it one last time..get over yourself, you got a freighter kill..good for you. You won. If his internet mysteriously crashed, then hes unlucky. If he panicked over a video game, then he either needs rehab, or medicine. Oh.... and I suggested WoW so he can play haxploit with the rest of his generation. By the way, I actually did petition him right after your first post ^^. Not that ccp will every do anything.

I wouldn't, with it's lack of guns and all. I do agree with you on his stupidity for jumping into low sec unescorted, but why do you think you're so uber for killing a frieghter? Did you even get the ransom? And can you honestly blame him for logging in a frieghter? Even if it was empty I wouldn't blame him. I'm not condoning his tactic, I'm just saying lay off him. And how does logging off before he's been scrammed an exploit? CCP has made it very clear that it is not. As much as most of us disagree with it's use, I don't think that using it in different ways will make it illegal. One more thing: why do you assume that the entirety of AXE condones the use of that tactic? I fly with them frequently and can say that they are all honorable pilots. Don't judge an entire group of pilots because of one's action, that's just plain ignorant. As previously stated to you in this post, get over yourself and learn how to play.

So unless you wanna argue that the freighter pilot is an npc or something...well it's still pvp. Undercutting prices in Jita is also pvp. I don't know how the idea spread that pvp is limited to player versus player combat in relatively equally matched setups, but it certainly doesn't make a whole lot of sense. -----

I think a better comparison would be a heavy weight boxer beating up an overweight kid and claiming it to be a professional boxing match.
