The salvaging mini-profession and rig manufacturing is a great addition to the game and an opportunity for newer players and old ones alike to try their hands at something industrial: no randomly distributed BPOs involved and there's bound to be a demand for rigs while they are not too easily produced.
However, I think wrecks and salvaging need a bit more thought: If salvaging in missions was not intended then it is obvious that wrecks should disappear once they have been looted. If salvaging was intended to be doable during missions then all NPC wrecks should receive a chance of dropping components. As it is now the system is annoying since you can't know if the wreck contains loot and you learn pretty quickly which wrecks are worth being salvaged. On top of that, you cannot know which wrecks have already been looted and which have not been. For me this wouldn't be much of a problem since Amarr don't use ammo, but for ammo users destroying every wreck is an unnecessary waste. Also, since I tend to use a loot industrial, destroying wrecks either with a salvager or with a small turret is not really an option imho.
So, my point is, either make all mission wrecks salvageable or make them disappear after looting. :)

It's starting to look like any wreck that used to have loot in it, gives that message. (For example, all drone wrecks)
It's quite annoying, to be honest.

A solution to make salvaging a bit 'quicker' would be to give a text info on the probability of recieving something usefull from the wreck (many ways to justify it in rp terms). This does not need to be specific %chances, just vague ranges like low, medium, high. Just an idea...
