It is nice to be able to catch up with the latest season of the Gallentean fantasy epic, The Game of Sovs. We were patiently awaiting its broadcast after we heard it had successfully endured the lengthy approval process by our Cultural Ministry.
In a recent episode orthodox Amarr seekers condemn a Caldari woman who confesses to lurid crimes of incest and perversion. As punishment she is made to walk naked and shorn through the streets to the tune of what we would describe as an inaccurately-researched Scriptural hymn of admonishment.
We took some sinful comfort in our hot chocolate as we binge watched three whole holoreels!

Hush. It's fantasy.
I do not watch much holoreels. The last one I watch was, well, it's pretty recent. It's about scattered stranded Matari colonies on a cut-off world ravaged by nuclear fire, where a wandering Krusual (who was touched by the Yetamo or something) was captured by a roving convoy of Nefantars and got embroiled in their politics (also gratuitous violence on threaded and hover vehicles while fighting off sandworms, braving rockslides, out-racing a rapidly closing wall of silica and shite).

I have to admit that I thoroughly enjoy "A Game of Sovs" myself.
I'm currently watching the episode where the Amarr Queen who should have died in fire, is bravely defending her right to rule in a land far from her home against the evil machinations of...wait...no, it seems I'm watching the SCOPE news channel again.

If I recall there's actually an Empyrean age version of that series. Didn't actually watch it but I hear that they really don't cast Empyreans much in the series except that one episode about Corp thieves. And the criminal who is a capsuleer got away scot free and nobody could do anything about it except wardecs. At least Poitot got renumeration for that.

Game of Sov is a big favorite for me as well. I'm totally caught up, I watch just as quickly as they can put it out.
My other favorite right now is Cardhouse which is about a whip in the Federation Senate climbing from the legislative leadership to the office of President of the Federation through political cunning, deception, coercion, and the occasional murder. It's not your typical political thriller and very much worth a watch (I say "a watch" because if you're like me you might sit down to watch the first episode and emerge from your quarters days later having consumed everything available in a single sitting).

That show is unrealistic, Gallente wouldn't make 'death camps' considering that imply's they outright kill POW's. They do have black ops camps that aren't exactly kind and should be removed, but i don't like such unrealistic portrayals that just lead to an improper view of people and cultures. Color's people's minds with hate who aren't smart enough to see it for what it is, a show.

I admit that every once in a while, I like to dig up some remastered editions of pre-space flight space opera holovids, specifically so I can mock all the inaccuracies in how space flight is portrayed.
They are almost all Gallentean (very very inaccurate and usually focus on the fighter jocks and their cool machines) and sometimes Caldari (very heavy on the politics and very light on technical specifics. Most of the space battles tend to be one-sided bombardments resulting from a weaker alien faction failing at realpoliticks).

I've taken up watching "Wandering Connifers", I don't want to spoil it but essentially it centres around a Gallente Presidential Security agent who wakes up in a small, rural settlement only to discover it is in fact some kind of prison. Almost gave up at one point, but its worth sticking to.

For some reason I can't stop watching the Caldari Animation series Fleet Collection. It's almost absurd, having Achuran schoolgirls represent State warships but... they're so cute and adorable when they beat up the girls from the Gallente and Minmatar schools while never understanding why the Amarrians are always so serious, boring, and keep on stealing all their capacitor boosters.
"It's not like I wanted you to notice me bombarding this Gallente city or anything," Still makes me laugh. No one ever understands Phoenix-san and her desire to be noticed by her senpai.

I did a little search on that on Galnet and apparently...it is based on a Galnet game. However, to actually register for an account requires me to go through a damned lottery process and much of the game is about organising the fleet and then twiddle your thumbs while hoping against hope that the Battleships would stop focus firing on the Destroyers and hit the damned Dreads.
Didn't help that the game is in the Caldari language with no official support for universal translators.
Also, why won't that Cormorant stop saying 'Poi'? And what's with that Caracal's obsession with fighting under the shade of solar eclipses? Why are they fighting over CURRY?

I haven't really watched any new shows regularly, apart from Within the Sphere, where a planet is mysteriously isolated from the rest of the universe. But the final episode of the first season was a disappointment. I was hoping for some ansers, but only got more questions, and in the few episodes of season two that I watched indicated it would be more of the same.
The last series I binged on was an older one that I gave a second viewing of all 7 seasons: Byffu the Camazotz Slayer. It's about a young Sebby girl who receives the unique "Slayer" tattoo during her Voluval and is tasked to fight evil spirits, humans, gods, and all things in between, wether she likes that or not, and grows up with her friends along the way. Oh, and I watched the spin-off Sefrim along with it, but have not finished that one.

I haven't watched it either. I am a big fan of the show mentioned in the OP. I still have some Crash and Drop in various station inventory holds and have seen, first-hand, what the introduction of a higher quality product can do not only to the individual but to their circle of influence as well.

I don't watch a lot of entertainment programs, Papa won't let me, and when I'm away from home I'm too busy to be bothered about it anyway, but I made this video of pictures for people. I hope you like them? Some of you may not ever see places like this for whatever reason, so I'd like to share it with you, a recent journey into the relative unknown. The wormhole J200727 is a place of immense beauty and mystery. Dangerous too, but danger often accompanies beauty and mystique, no? My thanks to the creators of the beautiful music I chose as companion to the pictures, I hope you won't mind?
We are explorers first and foremost, drawn by the inspiration to discover and see places beyond the immediately visible, beyond even the scope of a lifetime. Without explorers we would never have left the cradle of our civilisations. We can explore with our minds, but without eyes, or even the other senses, we experience not the tangible and breathtaking, sublime creation of Maker. We can explore with eyes alone, but without the contemplation of the mind we fail to grasp the ineffable nature of our being and remain in a state of chaotic sleep. We must put the whole of ourselves, the whole of our presence, into exploration to learn the secrets of the universe. |

He took me out about 20 times already. I had to Jolly Cooperation so many times to get my Humanities back. Just managed to get him down enough to initiate phase 2, upon which he Bullet Hell'ed me to death. I will figure out his deal and then I will kill him NEXT TIME.
Then I can take a short break and go take on this giant suit of floating armour that is on fire. You realise you can cheese him by spamming heavy attacks while he's flipping the swords about, right? Basically stunlocks him.

In preparation for the opening of The Nighting Gale I've found myself ensconced in watching Cuisine Synthcast's Superb Meals. Altonious Darktan has a knack for not only enlightening me about cuisine and its culture but exotic ways to improve the experience.
Though I typically refrain from keeping holoseries in my private quarters as it ruins the tranquil surroundings I prefer, I do occasionally enjoy viewing several reels with companions at Elysium or in public quarters.
I find the lifemimic show: People on a Beach marginally interesting. I imagine you could do well with exceptional swimming skills and knowledge of how to make a fire. If it weren't for all the complaining done by the other competitors, I would find it to be an enjoyable experience to compete in myself.
I try to keep up with A Game of Sovs with my corpmates, but I don't mind waiting between production phases like most watchers.

I was referring to the boss who is defending the Ash Throne. The one from the DLC. That guy laughs in the face of stunlock!
I took him out anyway. Now I must kill the poison-spewing dragoon who defends the Sunken Throne.
My CM is about...2.4 million I guess? I wasn't paying attention much. CL is about 140+.

I'm a bigger fan of the original, Infernal Conscience, just for its setting.
Used to love fighting my way into the Vale of Desecration to fight Sir Traeas and his female protector Ralg Landvin. Seriously was the origin of the developers fetish for poisonous swamps..... |

I always hate those bog levels. In that regard, the Gutter in Murky Conscience 2 is a disappointment. Where are the poison arrows and envenomed brutes?
Also, there's Murky Conscience 3 coming early next year, and comments implied that it's very much closer to Infernal Conscience than even Borne of Lifeblood.
