So right before the dt I had 2 sites escalate to 5/10 (one in lowsec and one in high), the first 5/10 I would ever run and I got ready to run the highsec one after the dt (if I would have known I would not be able to run it after I would have tried to do it before).
This bloody sucks. |

There are 30 days in a sub cycle. This is 720 hours a cycle. The most expensive sub fee for Eve is $15USD/mo. This works out to ~$0.02 cents an hour.
So, all in all, per account, you are currently out right around 12 cents USD as of this moment.
If this amount is truly stressful for you, please send me a verifiable invoice of your current accounts. I will reimburse you the time you are currently out from Eve right from my own pocket.
*1 We all make a lot more then that an hour *2 Noone on here plays 24/7 *3 some of us just got a lucky draw before the dt (like me p.e.)
So for those that lost most (or all of their playtime cause of the dt), if we assume they play 5 hours a day and make 100 mil an hour they would have lost 500 mil cause of this dt (not counting possible lucky draws before the dt), thos people have lost 7,5 usd because of the downtime, I am not saying everyone makes 100 mil an hour but there are people that make a lot more on here so imo 100 mil an hour is a fair assomption. |

we couldnt work for a few days because of a windows windows patch once. You do know that the servers are not running on Windows right? It would be utter madness and a waste of money to try and run a server of this magnitude on Windows.... Utter madness i say! The servers ARE running on windows. Have been from the start. Guess you need to re-think your reality, Mister! https://wiki.eveonline.com/en/wiki/Tranquility
"The server used is an IBM x3850 M2 server with 128 GB RAM and two 2.6 GHz six core Xeons (Dunnington) running Windows server 2008 x64 Enterprise Edition and Microsoft SQL Server 2008."
