So this has been happening for MONTHS. I had a long interaction with the GMs but they told me I should just file a bug report at this point. Thought I would post it here and see if it happened to anyone else before I just give up.....
When I click "play" once in the launcher, this happens http://gyazo.com/b851af941ebeb1220b30430a7c12f5ad
Both clients need to be forcequit and nothing happens. I have tried fixing it 100 times.
I tried removing everything eve related from my computer and reinstalling,
ive tried launching it from here /Applications/EVE/EVE.app/Contents/EVE\ Online.app/Contents/MacOS/cider
I tried fixing the launcher with the repair tool,
I tried downloading an older complete version of the client and then updating it,
but none of this has worked.
As a side note, every time I redownloaded my client the game would not install correctly. I would have to go into the launcher settings and download all the resource files. The game would tell me the client is ready even though the cahced files were only 500MB in size.
Any ideas?
I am on a 2013 27" iMac, Yosemite 10.10.4

Hey, thanks for the response both of you. Even though I had tried the complete re-instal I tried it again because I hadnt tried it before with a restart in the middle. But it didn't work. Once again after downloading the client it told me the client was ready even though it hadnt completely installed. Here is what I see before I go into the settings and download all the resource files: http://i.imgur.com/3Sq8rRt.png
I checked and it actually told me the client was ready before it even created an EVE Online folder in Application support
I then tried downloading the new launcher as Darwin suggested and nothing happened. Same outcome. 2 clients that froze. I will submit a bug report :/
edit: just went to make a report and notice i had made on in february that had no responses and was closed about this same topic. I will make a new one |

All you said was to contact you, I don't know why though, considering all the info is in this thread already... lol |

Hi, i had attached the logs to the report but apparently they did not submit... or something. I am attaching them in an edit right now. As for the library location, yes I have been looking in my users library and not the disk library
edit: ok I am getting errors when I try to attach the log in an edit. Here is a link to the logs. I will also add the link in a comment on the bug report
