Xykanth Roldeir Amarr Phantom Squad iPOD Alliance	Posted - 2006.12.01 10:01:00 - [1] Ok so the title of my thread is remeniscent of a facist pigs idea from 50 years back... Blah blah blah... Anyways I do not represent my corp or alliance in this idea. Jita as we all know equals lag. CCP has done things to help clean up this system well I think it's time players took matters into their own hands. If I had the isk I would hire every merc I could get, and call in every pirate corp I could and we turn Jita and every surounding system into a giant gank fest. The Idea being we find every single corp who keeps a prescence there and war dec them. We create a coalition and use gangs so we can share the war decs with other coalition members. Of course suicide ganks will also have to be employed to target noob corps. All in all we could write a page in EVE history unlike any other ever written. Wouldn't you love to take part in the gankfest that made Jita as empty as low sec when someone screams pirate in local. Not to mention all the flashy red targets.

Seriously though, Jita is frequented by a myriad of people for conducting trades. While there may be some who live in there, a lot of people (if not most) just visit it briefly. And a lot of people doing that at the same time equals lag. I believe that "hubbing" is inevitable, and only a manifestation of social behaviour. People need to gather somewhere - where it's most convenient. You make a place less convenient and they choose another place. Just like Yulai used to be the previous Jita (or, in fact, vice versa Jita is the new Yulai). As such, the only problem to address is lag. Meddling with a social phenomena is fruitless, and any solution will be either inefficient or temporary, and artificial. P.S. Not that I wouldn't immensely enjoy a sudden surplus of unwary cuddlemongers. ---

In truth I don't really care if another new Jita, or several new Jitas appear. Yes I know I would need a lot of corps all maxing out war decs to make this work. But if you think about it really Jita is the perfect place to pull off a stunt like this. So ok your insured ship blows up in the major trade hub. There's so many new ships and weapons readily available you wouldn't have to go far at all to outfit and be back in action. Sure at first there will be lag, but buy up a bunch of frigs and cruisers early keep insuring. You have little loss, and many targets. You might be able to easily get over 100 kill mails for a days work. Maybe I'm just dreaming. Oh well....

I was right next to it. perhaps this might be another reason for sooo many people. I also like how they have tons of agents compared to my gallente characters. Might just be the game is slanted to towards jita in some ways. Anyhow I doubt ill be going there often. too many other places with just as good a trade going on with out the lag. My Character Stats

However if you want a fast market, trading large volumes of trit and pyerite Jita is the place for you, infact i spent a bit of time in jita shuffling mins day to day making a few mil a day.
