Err, it's only one system, of no particular value (as far as I know) and not a choke point en route anywhere special.
So let them have it, although you have to wonder why they're so beligerent to harmless noobs passing through.
Unless of course there _is_ something of value there...

There is little of value there except a couple of nice npc hunting spots.
And I would like some clarification on what Evolution's policy is going to be regarding corps like ours who have been calling that system home for quite some time.
Why is it that when someone tells you that there are over a billion stars in the universe, you believe them, but if they tell you there is wet paint somewhere, you have to touch it to make sure? |

That's not a very satisfactory arrangement. We have corp hangars there, we might need to get stuff from time to time.
We don't mind sharing the area with anyone, but bullying tactics like that are a bit extreme don't you think? All we want is to be able to come and go as we have done for months. We won't bother you, so why be hostile to us?

Let's see....Evol leave the FA and sojourn outward. They find a system or two, decide paranoia is the name of the game and strong-arm the locals (who've been there peacefully for some time now) and people are supposed to respond joyfully and just openly accept being forced out at gun point?

Anyways, Evolution seem a very well run corp, my point was more to the way they asked the guy to leave the system.
I didnt think it was handled very well.
Iv sat next to a evolution ship in Jan, and many have jumped into jumpins which we are holding, iv never even concidered them anything other than the good guys.
Anyone whom attacks biomass ships is good in my eyes.

Dunno. I personally have to admit that the smartest policy for security continues to be "don't allow anyone but your friends in local". It's not very nice, but it is smart.
Not a defense or anything, Evo I'm sure doesn't give a crap about anyone's opinion about what they are doing. Only saying it's a reasonable move in terms of security, and most PvP corps and alliances do it when in a dangerous area or during a war.
Fair? Nope. Nice? Nope.

I have already said this once guys, but I'll say it again.
Everyone has choices.
Evolution doesn't sit at the entry points of aring and kill everyone.
When a new person comes into local, we tell them to move on, for we are there for the time being, and we don't want company. We say it nicely, or we say it forcefully, or myself or deathwing says it with gusto, doesn't matter. There is no perfect way to tell someone to leave a system, that would keep the pussies from coming here and whining.
Now, you can choose to ignore, and be killed the next time we see you there, or you can choose not to ignore, and move on, come back at a later date.
To be perfectly honest, it's probly not going to get you killed just passing through several times, or picking up stuff from your hanger and leaving.
But, when by chance I decide to take a few hours and camp the jump in point with a .6 second lock time and scramblers/web's, if you have been warned to leave before, I will destroy your ship.
If we are pirates, then we are a new breed.
We are the kind that warn you before coming after you, and we are the kind that doesn't ask you for money or goods. |

Since when is warning ppl and telling them to leave piracy? I thought being a pirate you just kill with no warning. But i guess some of you all too dumb to realized that. That or you suck at pvp.
If you plan on taking a trip with no intenseion of fighting why not hook up some warp stabs? to lazy? dont care? its your ship.

heheheh lets change the subject, and no I wasn't podded but yes I did lose my scorp nuff said :) it was insured. and yes it was funny really because when we was fighting venal, I sat at a station for 13hrs then I go afk for 1 min to set the house alarm with like 11 battleships round me ( friendly ), I come back and Iam dead :)
oh and also, my kills far out way my losses :) like about 30 fold :)

A lot of pirate corps seem to think it would be cool if Evolution went pirate too. I don't know what Evolution's plans are, but somehow, I don't think you pirates would want to be in competition with them. Since they have always been about controlling strategically important systems, they'd have little problem claiming their "turf" and expelling all other pirates from the area...
