How about an outbox for EvEmails I sent to people?
With the low character limit, replies often don't include the original text, so I have to try to guess what I said to the guy and when I said it.
I've got a notepad full of correspondence I've sent, and it's silly. A "sent" tab, organized by recipient, would be far more intuitive and thorough. -------------- Civis Ascendant Sum |

Nice idea. I could see the outbox never getting deleted by people though

This is, in my opinion, is a poor idea. Evemail needs far more love than just an outbox, it needs to be dropped entirely, and replaced with a simple in-game port of a standard mail client.
This would also allow us to potentially check our evemail from out of game, which would be a huge benefit for some.

Yep. One way or another the whole systems got to be on the list of worthwhile improvements. So much of the dynamics of the game rely on this kind of communication, for Corps, Alliances, Trade, Politics... A sent items box would be a great start.
Is there any reason why this kind of data cant be stored client side so that all the data doesnt have to be downloaded / stored centrally?

Client side storage is problematic for people who play the game on two or more computers. (Eg.: home and work.)
That's why I prefer IMAP to POP3 if supported by the server. I agree that a "full" in game IMAP client would be very sweet.
