Agree with you, the reason for unique prizes is to entice players into participating.
If players want unique items then they should compete.

If it helps keep the game afloat, and doesn't use the time of more critical devs (should be mostly the art team), then what's the harm in it? In the long run, skins wont keep the game afloat.... i wish the devs should put more of their effort to give the game more deept... open up the possibilities of the players.... make it more a symbiotic enviroment, not a confiend enviroment, restricted by the limitations within the narrow red line the game follows. Its a Space game, not a war game... war is just a sidedish of what the game should been. The game should be filled With oppurtunities that would bring in much more players instead of driving away players of pure boredom.
With the amount of ships and skins being specific to a particular ship you have to wonder.
On the other hand the skins are probably already there, it might be just a matter of adding/changing the colour scheme. So might not take as long as you think. |
