I only have Projectile Turret 3 and Surgical Strike 4 and my Artillery still pushes x8.8 modifier. Can't wait for my Tech II's. The point of this set-up was to use weapons that need no cap and have a passive tank. I plan on using 5 280mm Howizter II with Tremor rounds and 1 Drone Link Augmentor to give it more range.
I also do plan on trying out AC's too but later on that

The bonuses of this ship is repair amount and drone damage. You will die if you have nothing to repair your armor and webber drones seem a waste of space.

all that cap simply being wasted away....
Passive things are nice and all, but if you go over the top with passive, your cap is basically meaningless and used only for tackle...
you want a combination of active and passive. going Active + Active just means your cap dies too quickly, going Passive + Passive just means you arnt using your cap. Active + Passive is where its at, if you get that :P

er...
You plan on getting an armor repper on there? Or just dying really quick-like? Cuz that setup will make you go through a lot of Myrmidons. ---------------------------------------------------

i think no repper is nice since u got so much armor bonus per plate a repper dont make sense to fit i think.. like my thorax i fit 800mm plate instaed of armor repper. and i think it works nice.. just that u need to dock everytime :)

Thats identical to the setup that im working on.
(this is just what i can remember off the top of my head...)
Highs 5x 200mm Named Rails Drone Link Augmentator I
Mids 10mn named AB Large named cap battery 3x named cap rechargers
Lows 2x Med Repper II 4x Mission Hardeners
Drones: <Insert your flavor here>
Can run both caps in a pinch, and can run them for quite a while. Can trade out one of the hardeners for a Cap Pwr Relay, and get something like 12 cap per second (thats just dirty math, i dont know the cap equations off the top of my head).

I hope the reason you guys are fitting rails is because you have a load of skills specializing in them. The Myrmidon doesn't get a weapon bonus, so most people are fitting projectile guns to save on cap for other things.

2xT2 MAR 2xT2 EANM damage control unit (the best you can get) T2 800mm plate.
5 T2 warriors 10 T2 valkiries
howies are cool, but they lack damage in a ship with no kind of bonuses AC's are great, but they have too much short of range
T2 medium beam lasers (the small ones) actually have range and some damage, and you spare cargo to carry arround thos big 800 cap charges, so I decided to fit those. -------

A passive armor tank is suicide dude. Your Damage is going to hurt, and in all fairness, you'll likely get ruined badly by a Drake or any shield tanked (passive) setup.

Tanks good, and deals insane damage! Nos is just a wast on it in my opinion. I hate plates on BC's they are slow enough even without a plate.

The myrmidon has a hell of a cap, and recharges with my skills at 600sec, Now, most players use atleast 1 nos, and if ur attacked with 2 nos's then ur cap is gone pretty quick. The other aspect is that this is a good drone ship, meaning drone damage counts.
Be prepared to be NOS'ed, thats my philosophy, thats why I ALWAYS fit atleast 1 NOS on my ships. The myrmidon only needs 1, since its mainly to counter any NOS u get on u, and to let ur reppers run while u get close to do turret damage. If you can stay in there close enough, live and tank, then your opponent will go down thanks to drone damage. You just have to let him stay in fight, therefore a warp scrambler in one med slot is important, preferably the 2x strength, as your opponent will only flee once hes starting to get low on armour, by then your close, scrambling him, and hitting with blasters.
I heard this ship can run 2 reppers forever with passive capacitor mods in mid slot, I guess that means 1 large cap ext, and 2 or 3 t2 rechargers. I would like to use 2 rechargers, as I also want a scrambler in there, aswell as AB.
I just bought this ship, and doing some experiments.. what I DO know from previous ships, is that 60-70% of ur battles, u will be hit with kinetic and thermic damage, since there are alot of ships with that kind of bonus, therefore I will do a combination of active/passive tank to let 2 reppers run and tank the damage u get ur way.
High: 4/5 ION's hybrid blasters. 1/2 NOS's, depends if ur using 2 or 3 rechargers. If u plan to attack a BS, then mabye fit 2 NOS's to make sure u counter the large NOS someway.
Medium: 1 10mn AB II 1 webber OR warp scrambler 2x 2/3 cap recharger II's 1 large cap ext
Low: 2 med arm rep II's 2 adaptive nano hardener II's 1 thermic active hard II 1 kinetic active hard II
This will make sure u can use drones once u start engaging, and then u can start getting close. If your at a little distance, then you dont need to worry about being NOS'ed, but once u get close, make sure to hit NOS button before weapons, that way, u counter any NOS thats coming your way. in 20-30% of battles, you wont have NOS your way, and in that case you WILL winn with this ship thanks to the cap and 2x arm reppers. The battles you will loose are the ones that has 2-3 large NOS's coming your way, typically dominix and megathron.
I use Medium Null, T2 blaster ammom, which is good enough dmg ammo, and gives you a 25% bonus to blaster distance, which then makes you able to hit from 7-8k meters with falloff. Optimal at 4600meters (with my skills).
I am relly interested in this ship, as the cap is nice, good shield/armour capacity. Gonna love to engage in this good looking structure. Another thought, is NEVER fit on a arm extender, as thats just giving u a few seconds more before you pop. The 2 reppers need HARDENERS, as the damage is supposed to bump off you with 2 reppers running.
I hope this cleares something about this ship.

of course! 1.5mil SP into gunnery, and 15d from T2 med rails.

Just take care of my l4 mission approved setup:
5x 250 Proto // 1x Dual 150mm II AB II // 3x Cap Recharger II // 90% Fleet Webber 'Meditation' Medium Armor Repper // t2 Hardener [or another Small Armor Repper]
5x Heavy Drones [no t2 yet skilled]
With my 250 Protos I can agro at 63km. Take down Frigs with Plutonium and Dual 150mm Spike in mid range. Switch to webbing and Antimatter for low range combat. Drones eat BS by BS fast and without problems. Infinite 'Meditation' Repping rocks.
Probably I could change Rails to Blaster and use NOS for close combat [tanking] while my Drones do the dirt job?
No idea ... a Rails setup was working fine with my Brut on level 4 missions so far.

Ok heres the setup I've been working, feel free to congrat me or flame whatever lol.
This is mainly for long range support.
4 650 Medium 'Scout' Artillery (Depleted Uranium Ammo) 1 Drone Link Aug. 1 Small / Medium Nos (depends which you can fit after everything is equiped)
10mn Afterburner Cap Recharger 3 Sensor Damps
800mm Plate Energized Adaptive Med Armor Reper Capacitor Power Relay Gyrostabalizer Another EANM or a small reper
The usual assortment of drones, T2 of course
Yes this setup is prolly in a world of hurt if someone gets up close but like I said. Its more of a support ship that can still dish out some dmg from a good distance with drones and the artys.

Now for that last Mid slot, I was thinking maybe: -a Sensor Damp -an ECCM mod -a Sensor booster -a Cap recharger (so I dont have to rely on the cap booster as much. I want the charges to be used for anti-Nos, and as a little boost when I need them, not to keep the ship running.)
Any Ideas / feedback would be appreicated
