I have been here for 11.5 years, give or take. Eve pulled me through difficult times, and while my wife was mad at me playing, she eventually came around. She used to say 'why do you play eve so much? its not like its real or your getitng any actual impact out of it, all that effort, if the server shuts off tomorrow you have nothing to show' but thats not true. I had fun, i wa sless depressed (really could of used broadcast for reps two years ago but meh) and i wa sentertained. She caught on recently which is good.
anyway, to the op, i find it strange that having bene here for 12 years, and living through all kinds of broken, ******, ignored, and great features that you suddunly decide it has changed too much. The game you started stopped being the one you started after exodus. You saw no alliances, no pos, no caps. you lived through the firts drone nerf, the remote and AOE DD's, pos spamming, pos weighting, contalation sov, dominion. T20 gate, the start of the CSM, unfillfilled promises, boot.ini, unplayable expanions up to a week after release. Nerfs, buffs, etc. And now the game 'doesn;t look liek what you started with' Well you should know if your 11 years that stuff changes. Thats the point. you saw trinity grpahics, wis failure, apocarypto..
And you are just now leaving? nothing that has changed recently was even remotly bad. i cna find about 5 other ideas and things thta ccp did that are way worse then anything currently. yet you decide 'naw i'm out' alright... have fun. i'll still be here, cause one thing that has not changed, is that there is still no other game like eve. but good luck
