I don't know a lot of these peeps, can just comment on some. I wish the original poster has mentioned other corps as well.
NGRU -- This name strikes me as familiar. (OOC comment. I've seen this name before with other games, Mechwarrior 4 and Allegiance. But I'm not sure if this is the same group until I'm certain of their initials. I asked someone I know and he said the name NGRU actually stood for a combat unit in the planet Terra Nova, you guess it, a mech clan from the Heavy Gear game. This sort of makes sense, because in Terra Nova, the world is divided between North and South, he explains.)
Solar Knights --- A ship building group. I have a friend and former corp mate there. Other than that I don't know much.
PIE --- Probably the best Amarr RP group around. Honorable and nice people; great and brave pilots. They lead the fight against antipiracy in Amarr region.
Oracle --- PIE's nemesis in RP wars. Also a great and honorable group, but has moved to the CA, and don't RP as much except on the forums.
RONA --- One of the biggest corp around.
TTI --- "Was".
Space Invaders --- A great pirate group which I consider as the model for a pirate group in EVE (not Biomass or Moo).
Red Corsairs --- Another great pirate group with an RP feel.
Jericho Fraction --- Charismatic people with cutting edge sigs. Jade, Miso, Athule, need I say more.
BSC --- Another big corporation.
I wish the list included corps like
Imperial Dreams --- Another Amarr RP corporation.
Evolution --- Hardass, hardcore. You don't want to mess with these guys.
MASS --- SA enforcers.
The People's Liberation Front of Minmatar --- Minnie commies.
Naginata --- It seems these are mercs.
PAK --- Trying to be pirate highwaymen, to be "real pirates" not griefers.
