This auction thread is a pre-auction announcement only until the starting timer has been reached to give interested buyers the opportunity to free some liquid ISK. Facts upfront: AUCTION START: 2011.12.14 0:00 EVE-Time AUCTION END: 2011.12.22 20:00 EVE-Time SNIPER RULE: 12 hours STARTING BID: 1 Billion ISK MINIMUM BID INCREMENT: 500 Million ISK RESERVE: 144 Billion ISK BUYOUT: No Buyout INGAME BIDS: No NPC CORP BIDS: No ITEM LOCATION: Continuous HighSec, but a tad bit remote TRANSPORT: You are free to transport it after you received it, I will not. LINK:Sleipnir BPO Stats Now.... as I said, auction starts on the 14th of December and ends on the 22nd. Sniper rule is 12 hours to reduce timezone advantages. This means if the high bid comes in more than 12 hours before the scheduled auction end, the auction ends at that time. Otherwise, the auction extends and ends 12 hours after the unanswered high bid was posted. Edited bidding posts are invalid. Bids from members of npc corporations are invalid. Bids prior to auction start or after auction end are invalid. I do not like reserves, and much less hidden reserves. But I recognize that buyers may want to check out other interested parties without committing - therefor starting bid is below reserve, but reserve is public. There is no planned buyout. But I am going to be honest, if someone offers me... like.... I don't know.... 600 billion ISK I'll probably accept that as buyout. It is a rather unlikely event though. The BPO is currently in production, but if the deities of corporate unlocking deem me worthy, it will be finished, unlocked and ready for contracting at the scheduled auction end. The production time shown on the screenshot is obviously with full skills and F60 hardwiring plugged in. If you define a month as 30 days, you can build 25.7 per month in station or 34.2 at a pos array. Serious questions will be answered. HAPPY BIDDING FOLKS! Not going to stay awake for possibly days on a 12h sniper rule, but I won't slack off either. Standard contract duration will be 3 days. But I do not have a problem with making it a reasonably longer contract if so requested, unless I get told about an urgent emergency because your panda ate your canary or such nonsense. In other news, the Sleipnir BPO is out of production and ready for contracting to the auction winner. Also, I received a nice ingame buyout offer starting with a 2, but - while tempted - decided to stick with the announced auction format; for better or for worse. We'll see. Highest bid is currently still rookies pod with 170 Billion ISK.

So very much not npc corp bids and therefor very much valid. CHB: Jess Ica, 180b. [Edit] Also, the only serious interest for this auction I got from any NPC corp member was the former Red Citizens member that then turned out to be a Goon alt that tried to possibly scam me yesterday night. So, that rule is working as intended , no need to change it.

So, at 2011-12-23 at 09:56 this auction will currently end. Also, I consider the interested bidders fully assembled (rookies pod, Jess Ica, Xai Li Shun). If Jess Ica's offer of a final all-in round is acceptable to the others, it is fine by me as well, if the current 12h sniper cooldown is extended again. I do not have a problem with keeping the 12 hours going either though, I have to work over the holidays anyways :D Also, at this point, contact me via mail before you bid if you are not one the three mentioned earlier, or I'll likely consider you a troll and declare your bids invalid.

I introduced this - I thought - as a favour to the people currently bidding so that no trolls could simply delay the auction end without really affecting the outcome. But Jess Ica correctly pointed out to me, that that rule is not completely unambiguous in the last 12 hours of regular auction time when sniper rules already start kicking in, and Xai Li Shun bid for the first time in that time-window. My intent was to limit further bidding to bidders that bid before 2011.12.22 20:00 ("regular auction end" in my mind). I think this is also clearly evidenced by the fact that I thought I did not screw someone over, so did not think I would remove Xai Li Shun from the auction. There was nothing fishy intended, just slightly ambiguous wording in what was planned as a friendly gesture. I see no really good way out of this besides removing that auction rule again. So, that's what I am doing. The late addition to the auction rules is removed. We'll keep this on the original auction rules until it comes to a natural end. This year or next year.
