Adia Celeris was injecting large quantities of methamphetamines into her thighs, and we haven't heard from her since. The only thing we got was this weird message in the mail:

Quote: Muffins of Mayhem has declared war on Phoenix Allianz

We're working fervently with our political advisors to solve the issue, as the ever growing might of the Phoenix Allianz has us literally soiling ourselves. The advisors are high, but so are our hopes that things will be resolved quickly.
Anyway, good luck to those involved. Please expect much flaming and whining over the next week in local as we pour our souls into prose about how we need to self-destruct our pods in order to feel alive. Every cyno field dropped will lead only to the emptiness of our hearts.
  Sincerely,
Helganstandt Head Baker Muffins of Mayhem

I probably mispelled it. I'm too lazy to log into eve at work and get the actual quote. I'm also too lazy to fix it.

I know for a fact that the "allianz" part is correct.

Yeah, if anyone is looking to lose some sec status, they hang out in Ordat and Naseshefara (or however you spell it) and around there. 6/10 complexes woohoo.

Edited by: Helganstandt on 07/12/2006 20:35:33 It should be noted that on the first day of battle, they have a group of anti-pirates in Ordat that are actually camping with....you guessed it....a phoenix.

Edited by: Helganstandt on 08/12/2006 15:49:48 If we decide to include all anti-pies involved in the last battle...I know I got some statistics here somewhere.....
  Oh, here they are:
  Kills: 1 Hyperion 1 Armageddon 1 Scorpion 1 Megathron 1 Apoc 1 Dominix 1 Myrmidon 1 Drake 1 crow
  Losses: 1 Typhoon
That was....1 hour ago? And the first real battle of this war. But yeah, we could do better I suppose We're just so lonely and desperate.
Edit: You should know better than to smack before the war is over.

Yes, for those who wish to know where we're actually focusing our money, it's this. This is much more fun too!
edit: Also, veritech said so long as we show up to our next fight, we still get our monies. But I guess we'll do kestrels or something instead. We were technically disqualified for that match, but since the rules say "if you show up you get your money" and we showed up, we get our money.
  It wasn't a forfeit

Edited by: Helganstandt on 12/12/2006 18:01:48 Good job on the dread kill.
However, we're currently petitioning, as we believe one of your raven pilots used an undocking bug to bump Thain 15k off the station. Nonetheless, good kill.
Edit: BTW, you're not allowed to put killboard links in this forum. It will probably get moderated.

If the petition does not go through, I will come back here and publicly admit it, and chalk up the kill to inexperience with cap ships. We're still having fun with the war, which is the point. And it's only on for a few more days anyway.

Edited by: Helganstandt on 13/12/2006 22:00:18 Yeah, the dread loss hurt. However, the war was slated for a 1 week minimum, 2 week maximum. Wish I could have been in it more, was too busy with school
Don't fret though, we plan to use Ordat for much pirating in the future.

...you muffins got toasted! Get over it or stfu! ;)

That's the worst petition you've ever read about? Did you just learn to read?
Everyone petitions ship losses they believe were due to a bug, that doesn't mean I lose sleep over the idea of not getting it returned. So you can stfu now.

nope! Some ppl use the help channel. wtf bug should that be? they h4xxed in your computer and used the siege mode. dude, i have nothing against petitions that make sense but this is something that don't make sense ;).
First cry, then think is the wrong way isn't it?

Um, the bug we're talking about is thain undocked, a raven undocked right behind him, and it magically bumped him 15k off the station. Last I checked, that's not normal.

It's luck yeah, but it can happen sometimes.
maybe this can help you change your mind? :)
btw. i'm sry for your loss but i just hate players that don't take a loss without petition you know? You betray yourself and your enemy.

You're not sorry for anything, you're just accusing us of basically abusing the petition system. If anyone is able to bump someone off a station using the method you described, then fine, it's game mechanics. I've been the game well over a year and I've never seen it happen before now. And it's only been on this particular station. That makes me think it's a bug. Bug resulting in a ship loss is a viable petition. Can you at least agree to that? If you disagree that it's a bug, fine, maybe the GM's will agree with you. But don't act like you are all knowing.
Not to mention I've already said if that's the case and thain doesn't get reimbursed, I'd come back and publicly admit it, and chalk it up to inexperience. So why exactly are you *****ing? How is that doing a disservice to ourselves or our enemies?
