Third Person "over the wing" camera view? Yanno cause some of us want to make a Top Gun parody or something

No no! Not saying to have those sort of views for the players, more over like a spectator/observer view o.o;

Similar to some of the external shots you've been showing on the big screen in the halls where you set up Valkyrie testing stations.
That FanFest tournament was pretty cool, but I think it would be even better of we were also given a detached camera to spectate battles and possibly commentate them.

I think there has been serious talk of making the whole project a spectator based experience.
As I see it, while everyone is talking about the future with excitement and anticipation, a lot is being quietly achieved by those who carefully manage their expectations. Careers advanced, friends assisted. Budgets spent. And, all the while, brilliantly compounding the good works, everyone may thrill at video images of what Valkyrie might have been like.
We should never rush to throw away the good with the perfect, and so let us give proper thanks to the video images of the experience, and contemplate the fact that we have rarely been so well entertained by the possibility of a thing. Outside of church.
In this giving spirit, let us beseech the shareholders of CCP to reach deep within themselves and produce the material fuel for the flaming ideological fervour that is Valkyrie. Throw another million on the fire of progress, and remember what Jesus would have said had he thought of it:
"There is no "I" in "Crucify"." |

I would like to see EVE Valkyrie streamed.
2 views would be nice. One view from the 3D pilot cockpit.
Maybe a way to switch to the other view (third person) for the spectator or stream viewer.
However, it is important to keep the control simple to start, to avoid conflicts.
Also, it would be complicated for a Twitch.tv viewer to control view change.
That would require something like 2 streams.
And this is where it leads to complication.
Of course, this can be easier accomplished from a local spectator view on the VR system and related monitors.
Streaming and broadcasting is another business.
(Talking of other business,) the extra coding also is not free.
