Beginning Attributes Tutorial
Intelligence, Memory, Perception, Willpower and Charisma
How well you chose your parents (your racial profile) and how well you chose your education affects your basic attributes.
Furthermore, all players have FIVE free points to allocate as they see fit (with a max of 3 to any one attribute).
Your sex (gender refers to grammar) has nothing to do with beginning attributes.
Finally, using the various Learning skills, one can raise each attribute by 1 pt per level (so a max of 5 points)
Each Race has two bloodlines in beta. Each of these have three possible beginning professions. Their intelligence, memory, perception, willpower and charisma are as follows:
Amarr (Amarr): Liberal Holders: 7-6-4-11-6 Wealthy Commoners: 7-9-4-10-4 Religious Reclaimers: 7-6-4-14-3
Amarr (Ni-Kunni): Free Merchants: 5-6-7-4-12 Border Runners: 6-6-10-4-8 Navy Veterans: 5-6-7-7-8
Caldari (Deteis): Merchandisers: 7-11-5-5-6 Scientists: 10-7-6-5-6 Tube Child: 7-7-9-5-6
Caldari (Cevire): Entrepreneurs: 5-8-9-6-6 Mercenaries: 5-4-9-10-6 Dissenters: 5-4-9-8-8
Gallente (Gallente): Activists: 6-4-8-4-12 Miners: 6-8-8-4-8 Immigrants: 6-4-10-6-8
Gallente (Intaki): Artists: 8-7-5-6-8 Diplomats: 8-7-3-6-10 Reborn: 8-11-3-6-6
Minmatar (Sebiestor): Tinkers: 11-6-5-6-6 Traders: 7-6-5-6-10 Rebels: 7-6-8-7-6
Minmatar (Brutor): Workers: 4-8-9-7-6 Tribal Traditionalists: 4-4-9-10-7 Slave Children: 4-4-11-9-6

Just a tip to the new players (not noobies cos in my books that implies idiots). It is REALY worth training up these skills as early as possible in the game. As they affect the speed that you train every other skill in the game. You may spend a week or so getting all 6 learning skills to level 4 or 5.
Just as a very basic example, to gain 256000 points in a skill you take 256000/(pri+sec/2) lets say Inteligence and Willpower, both at 10. Thats 256000/(10+10/2) = 51200 seconds Now take Int and Wil to be 14 25600/(14+14/2)=36571 seconds.
A saving of 14629 seconds on 1 skill thats over 4 hours.
If my maths or reasoning is pearshaped, buggerit I aint no mathmatician(or speller)
Just dont ignore the learning skills, get them out of the way while you are mining the safer ores in carebear space. If God made us to be just like him, then God is dumb and maybe a little ugly on the side...[F.Z] |

I think level 4 on the stats is the best compromise.
Each level 5 takes 8-10 days each. And you won't actually come out ahead until you start lvl5'ing other skills.
So leave them at level 4, save yourdelf 3 weeks :)
I'm not gonna level 5 anything I don't need until I get some implants, or until everything else is level 4. Whichever comes first. .

Exact formula for skill training time calculation is :
XP / ((pri+sec/2)*(1+0.02*learning)) minutes
For instance, U have 19728 points to train to next level. Primary attribute is 12, secondary is 11 and your learning skill is at level 4 :
19728/((12+11/2)*(1+0.02*4)) minutes 19728/(17.5*1.08) 19728/18.9 1043.8 minutes to train... (\_/) (O.o) (> <)=Oveur (proof) "Jumping 50 systems I can like, have sex 150 times during that period" |

Where did you guys get that formula? Isn't it like this? [XP/(pri+sec/2)]*(1-0,02)^learning
