I'm supposed to kill people, but half of the time Eve for me is just an expensive IRC. I've recently turned to roleplay and lowsec empire cos in 0.0 your either:
Bob in which case - you win all the time - bet thats sooo interesting
OR
You pay Bob to stay in 0.0 - really interesting
OR
Your not BoB - interesting right up to the point BoB show up.
I've discovered 'piracy' after being the worlds worst pirate (reimbursing ppl I killed cos I felt bad) I'm getting into the swing of being bad and becuase of the roleplay I can just about sleep at night.
My other accounts are mainly industrial and pay for Jherek's mistakes.

Though the job I had which caused the anger management (and upper digestive tract) issues is done. I got a much more relaxed job, (and a new car) but I still play eve
I'm out of the doghouse with my family and love my 6 months new job.
I know where you are coming from. Eve helped me cope by allowing me to kill people regularly, the legal way.
They weren't Groucho, Marco, and Zeppo of so and so alliance, they were really the change control vp, marketing vp's and cio where I worked  in their subarus and bmw's, not spaceships. A 425 II goes a long way (no pun intended) towards solving any work related rectal (or retard) attitude challenges you may face.
It'd take out a Subaru with a near miss . They wouldn't tank too well.

Yea - it's the semi-periodic "how old are you?" thread! :)
I'm 41, retired (from the U.S. Navy) and starting second year of my next career.
In game I'm mostly into the PVE aspects - missions and ratting - although I dabble in production and trading. Lately I have been fully into the salvaging craze.
Just within the last week or so I finally got jump clone aspect (post-Revelations patch) so PVP may be on the horizon for me.
Someone in the thread mentioned BBS and Trade Wars - boy did that bring back memories. I just could not mention my favorite BBS game of all times - VGA Planets.
I'd still get involved in a game of that today as I loved the long term strategic thinking and empire building involved.

Turning 20 in a couple months. I mostly sit docked and watch the skillpoints slowly add up while I wait for skills to finish. I miss PvP/pirating...
