Which rat yields the highest gain in security status? I looked at various websites and none of them have a spreadsheet read out or ranking system that would allow for searches based on variables like sec status gain or bounty price..
So I ask you the criminal community of eve, what rat gives the most money and which one gives the most sec status? |

The more expensive the rat the better the sec gain. Of course it also goes up by ship for large jumps (a frig is like .002% gain while a bs is about .2%) A 500k bs rat isn't as good for your sec as a 1.5m bs.

Yes and no...
If you are in per say Syndicate region ratting, the higher bounty the BS the higher your sec stat gain will be, yes.
However, if you are ratting in Delve where the bounty of BS rats is significantly higher than Syndicate, you will notice that the security status % gain for killing each tier of BS is exactly the same.
You will also get a lot more security status gain for killing BS in some complexes, however if your sole purpose is to gain security status, that is not the fastest way. Security status gains are based on a timer "per system", so if you jump between 2 or more systems and continuously kill 1 rat in each system, you will gain security status way faster than ratting in only one system. Using this tactic in gaining security status is superior to trying to find the highest bounty BS. |

Okay your best bet for finding a good wayto gain sec status is to buy a battleship with a minimum of 8 high slots. Preferably the Armageddon. Buy 8 large smartbombs (you can hit all the rats at once with this.) Undock from Jita 4-4 and wait until your 5km away from the station. Now you need to test your smartbombs so you know they will work on the rats. Press your F1-F8 keys ALL AT ONCE. Note that step, its very important. As soon as you do that, immediately click yes or hit enter, its just a stupid message concord sends out saying that your killing NPCs so your getting security status, its a borked message. Anyways once you do that, go kill some rats in null, because now you have a loooong way to go. |

What about killing the highest sec status rat once then jumping to another system and then repeating. Is that not the best way to gain sec status? |

yes, that's pretty much the better way to grind.
Fastest way for me, (for me!) is to get two misison in neighboring systems with lots of Battleships. Go to one, kill a BS, go to the next system kill another. repeat. |

each system has a 15 minute timer on it for gains. Technically, the best you can hope for it getting in a loop that takes you 15minutes to complete (that is usually about 5 systems) of course it can be bigger. Long straight lines also work. Btw, OP, is english not your first language? |

Security status only updates every 15 mins or so. You only gain sec status once per system in that time frame.
Biggest ship gives you the biggest gain.
Best way is to farm status is to go into a system, kill its biggest spawn, change system, kill biggest, repeat. |

After grinding from -10.0, the fastest way, by far, was to find a group of 5 systems and kill one rat per system and do the circuit repeatedly. Moves rather quickly that way :)

As said before. Changing systems is the way to go. The rats don't even have to be that big (Although it helps).
After getting past 0.0 i just ran round and accepted 10 or so missions and would jump between each of them, killing a few things each time. This would work just as well in low/null
