If a lone pilot wants to stay docked while a hostile blob is in system , or while he goes to the pub- well thats up to them.
We dont have a Call to Arms, Or Every1 undock NOW and get shot at order. If some1 wants to fight, they fight, if not they dont.
Risk vs Reward- most pilots are still flying solo and dont throw ships away lightly.
As far as the hauler bashing goes - I have personally been witness to a lone pilot nettin hundreds of Mills in BPCs /Ore from lone a single ungaurded hauler kill. New Industrialits? or old over confident players with far too much ISK in their wallet?
Big scores from implant carrying shuttle pilots or T2/Ore loaded haulers arnt uncommon - and we aint just gonna let a WarDecced hauler float on by now are we?
And thanks for the reminder I gave up suicide ganking when I joined up -but Alliance owned NPC corp haulers eh , I'll round up a few more Privateers with decent Sec Status and we'll get to work booming their wallet. (not that we dont already have enough to shoot at lol.)

using bait for engagements isnt something new, but usually its a fast frig and "isnt the worm were looking for"
Load up a hauler, get an escrot. We'll bite.
We rarley do organised group combat, but Skunk is at the back of the bike sheds if your looking for a frisk.

Its not a war numb nuts - Its the opportunity to join, get a ship and shoot. We dont organise camps etc - we shoot when the opportunity presents itself ---o whats the point in trying - put your head back in the sand.

AFAIK its not. It seems to be a discussion with 6 people trying to explain how privateers operate and a dozen more putting fingers in theirs ears and yelling:
"LALALALALLALAlAaALALLAALALa, I cant read,lalalalla my kill boards say were winning,lallalalla -come fight my PVP fitted BS'in your cruiser instead of that packed hauler lalallaalla ,dont stay docked when you cant win and yell KAMKAIZEE while charging me and my blob"..

EDIT for Marus: we can usualy be found in trade hub pipes, hubs for trade/missions etc, commonly known allaince 0.0 entry points etc etc. Bring a friend with a packed freighter for bait  BUT Skunk is still at the back of those bike sheds - and hes stole the seat off your chopper.. have a nice ride home

Why dont you pay for your merc dec and put a spy in the corp like evey1 else? and relay the map info over?
-- and I estimate your going to need about 90 active pilots 23/7 to pin us down sounds like your wallets bigger than the hole between your ears lucky for us both eh

As a lone pilot there is no sign up fees and no tax and no profit cut.
You loot it, its yours (providign your gang dont disagree lol)

As a corp its different AFAIK ISK may be invloved but I think its negligable. for details I'd contact Surreptitious or Sorted. and I signed up in New Caldari (next to jita)

Funny thing is, for the corps that drop their alliance banners,
they just drop their alliance banners, go to ISS stations and live there.
ISS Marginis is open to public and in theory ISS don't shoot any neutrals.
(But they sometimes shoot NPC corps :P)
that way, you can't actually stop people mining/ratting/producing in 0.0 then bringing and selling stuff back in empire.
If you want to stop these people, you might want to camp 0.0 choke points at some stage to actually stop them from bringing stuff back to empire, because once they get their stuff to empire and if they don't have war decs on because they are not in alliance, it's VERY easy to make profits.
(Even IF they are in alliance, they can just transfer all the goods to an alt character which is probably in NPC corp, sell stuff, make profit.)
(But then I sometimes go to ISS areas to make their life harder)
