As for honoring ransoms, yes they should be honored. Sometimes sh** happens. Maybe took too long to send the isk? Maybe the ship/pod is popped the moment the isk is sent? Maybe the ransom request is withdrawn after victim sends isk but starts smack? Maybe victim stalls for time to get backup so gets popped anyway? Lots of variables involved.
A single case doesn't mean all Pirates within the Corp or Alliance practice it.
Besides, MDK simply has no platform to complain about honor, as they use exploits to achieve kills.

I'm certainly not going to take a chance on getting one of the "nice" IO guys who honors a ransom. This incident, particularly because of the full admission and outright bragging by the member in question, will always be in my mind if/when I run into you guys.

hey am amarr all the way now yes, i started as caldari but that's where it ended lol. And as for sending the isk if you check the time of the isk sent, it was a full 5 minutes after i had sent it that my ship was blown up. If you notice the time of the transaction and the time of the ship and pod kill.

Mieh, INFOD isnt to be trusted. They dishonored a 1v1 against me (and stil lost ^_^). If you get caught by one of their gank squads just take the loss and leave it at that. No sense giving them the ransom--I'd never expect them to honor it anyway. Good combat pilots, their word means nothing though.

Very true mate i will never trust them again. Never show them any respect, i am just dissapointed that they have let the whole pirate community down by this unholy act. Ransoming is a pirate's way of life, and the first unwritten rule is to honour them no matter what.

Alkeena - i totally agree with u.
Although there are some honorable pilots in INFOD.
I was shocked - there was an engagement in isto - where Don rent away - leaving his friend on Tempy to die - all this while i (!!!) was tanking sentrys.
The Tempy guy named Sykopil or something - but Don displayed a perfect performance of :the hell with my friends - i'll just run to save my nighthawk....
I am collecting ISK to buy my first Phoenix.

Ganking a Cruiser or whatever happened is not an EXPLOIT. You guys take things a step further and utilize game mechanics that were not intended to be used in such a way.
Remove the plank of wood from your eye before plucking the splinter out of PC's eye.

No one in mdk was ever warned of this or banned which they would of been if that had happened.
I personally invite people who im killing to convos to ransom them, would that be lame given them a chance to pay?
Actually I did post the ppl who used the exploit on me to Juco. We even had a conversation about it and an apologie was made on behalf of MDK for the exploit

I think your probably mistaken. Most likely they just convoed you to try and ransom considering you were scan probed.

Hmm well there was no ransom offer made and I got 20 convos in the space of 10 secs
Then when I was scrambled they stopped
Then when they destroyed my ship they spammed me again until my pod was scrambled no ransom was ever asked

In the other post you said you only got convo invites from 3 people and you cant convo somone more then once so if your story were correct then you would of only gotten 3 convo invited in the span of 10secs so either in the origional post you lied or your lying again to make my corporation look bad.

Ok mate do you have any idea how logs are tracked on the client?. I only accepted the first 3 invites because I thought maybe they were goin to ransom me. Then when they just left the convo and invited me again I knew what they were trying to pull on me, so I just didnt accept any more no point really as there obviously was no ransom offer. And I had to reject about 20 before they finally stopped when i was scrambled. You guys say you fight with honor then where was the honor in this?.
And logs only track the convos I accepted not the ones I regected. So I looked at my logs later on to tell juco some of the people that did spam me. And could only mention the 3 convos I had accepted. You really lack knowledge in logs. Maybe your leader needs to explain what happned in more detail because atm it sounds like your leader is tellin two different stories. Later on that night she told some of my alliance mates that it did happen and Juco apologised for it. It was a new recruit who suggested the tactic to your corp. And most of you said yeh lets try it out. And you all did.

The issue you speak of occured one weekend when I was unable to be on, and I wasn't personally involved. I can however fully assure you that MDK are honourable people. Any problems surrounding that have been sorted out.
As for the Andy thing spilling into the forums I do apologise. He screwed us, and broke trust in ways nobody thought possible.
As for INFOD and the ransom again I don't know the details and couldn't care less - if you asked for a ransom and then killed anyway it's just wrong, whatever the circumstances or whoever the person.
