Nice job organizing such a trap, outstanding
However, from the conflicting reports here, I didnt understand something: Was the Avatar already in local, and just cyno was made in proper spot? or the Titan actually jumped into the middle of their fleet?
If its the later, then how comes that the RAgoon+allies, having way over 250+ ships, couldnt take it down within 15 secs?
I mean, 250+ ships is insane DPS! should have been able to I would think.. or whats the HP on the thing?
Its great being a Gallente blasterpilot, aint it? Save Tranquility! |

From what I've read and understood, it seems that the Titan was in system, in either a POS or safespot. A suicide cyno gen probe was sent into the middle of the ra/goon/tcf/etc fleet, and then there was a boom.
In all honesty, I doubt this can really repeat itself. If goons had prior knowledge that LV had a titan, they would've known to run when that cyno opened. Now that it's common knowledge, LV no longer has the supreme element of surprise. ----------------- http://www.eve-provenance.com |

Amazing stuff. But if V have lost 1V it's all over and the Titan, and the kills mean nothing, the cheats and sploiters and idiots win. Grats RAGOON, you suck.*

They have the best gang bonus: 7.5% bonus to gang membersĘ capacitor recharge rate per level. The Amarr doomsday weapon also does EM damage, which is effective against practically everything if not specifically tanked against.

We may no longer have the element of surprise but it is the ulitmate psychological weapon. For instance...Cyno pilot warps in and turns the lights on. The roaches scatter!!!! No need for the Titan to even be around. Let the hilarity ensue!

Indeed, this Doomdays shot was perfectly done. I'd say that Titans were designed to be used exactly that way (whiping a complete fleet at gate).
However, RAGOONTCF and allies finally had the upper hand in POS fights later.

Should be, except when your opponents are RA / Goon / TCF you can't really say we've been "stunned" or "scared" by your titan, we were rather like "Damn that was a nice move : we need more ships, NOW !"

Hello Guys,
Congratz on a successfull deployment of this beast.
If you all recall an forum mod post after ASCN annonced theirs, They said yes we confirm that Ascn has built the first titan, but we cant confirm or deny if another one another one started or built afterwards. kind of given it away. it was just a whos built/building it and when will they show it.
many people throught it was BOB
Any way nice to see another titan on the battle field, Would like to see an LV and ASCN War now.

Well First of all, I wanna Congratulate Enslaver for pressing the "I WIN" buton !
Second thing... Talos, LV and ASCN are "FRIENDS" yeah that right ! So... 3 AVATAR Titans total ... 1 BoB which is not friends with ASCN and LV ... and 1 each for ASCN and LV....
Where is the Caldari LOVE?
When will RAGOONTFC will bring out their 'Ibis of Doom'
I can only Imagine what's goin on with RAGOONTFC before all this happens....
" yeah we got this... 200+ gang should take out haulers coming through gate" " look, a cynofield"
... Enslaver shows up ...
" Oh the light! " " No ! RAGOONTFC don't look at the light!" " But i can't help it ... its so beautiful!"
BAM!

When somebody only puts 4-5 hours of stront in a POS on a weekend there is no saving that system.
Good fights all evening. However you got lucky that the V POS manager had a bad hair day and gave LV / V no chance to organise a setup on you when the POS's "should" should have been coming out of reinforced over 1 day later.
If the POS was properly fuelled you would not take 1V- and whats more you would have lost even more ships while trying.
This isn't over, by a long way.

As I said a while ago, mistakes will happen. Pressure = mistakes.
And as long as people capitalise on those mistakes, defending is a one way street to loseville.
I am still totally dumbstruck by the Titan though, no one knew... and what an alpha strike, fkin awesome.
No fraps?

Stunning revelation of the Avatar.. Shame that you lost the system though. Can't beat the blob even with a titan, heh.
And wtf, now I know where all the TCF were today. No wonder there wasn't any targets when I was roaming
