I was the cyno pilot, at first we though it didnt work i seen the effect but i died, then wrecks start apearing, 250+ of them :)

Fisrt I saw a probe warping in. We killed it, just after it dropped a cyno. I was thinking "what the hell, they'll bring a fleet of Carriers in range of our fleet, or what?". Then a white light began to expand, until it took half the screen, I was all "No, that can't be that, they don't have a titan! Omg warp out warp out...."
Then my apoc turned to dust, and I got 0.05 FPS for 3 minutes, staring at an huge mass of wrecks everywhere.
Nice move, LV (I won't say gf because it wasn't a fight), but don't expect to repeat it that easily. No we know you have a Titan, and we'll adapt...

That's hard to say with the lag. I tought it was supposed to be 15 seconds, but between the beginning of the light's expansion and the moment lag made our ships uncontrollable, I'd say 5-6 seconds.

It was a slick move. We pulled their entire fleet to he gate as they were expecting us to jump in on them. Little did they know that our Titan was watching them from afar...
Punishment was served today. Goon's a victim of their own lag machine had no opportunity to warp out and were taken completely by surprise.
Thanks to all the people in LV that assisted in the production of the LV Titan in almost total secrecy.
The battle for 1V- is only in it's infancy though, it only began today and we will have to summon all our strength and ability to win this battle.
Who will be next to fall victim to our Judgement?

Err, no, unless something happened after I lost my ship, LV didn't put his titan in danger. AFAIK it was sitting in a safe spot in a nearby system, and it did a doomsday activation via cyno field.

Grats LV on both the construction of the Titan (can we pls get more variety though )
And its awesome introduction to the world of alliance warfare.. one point though.. if the titan had to be in system for the DD to work... how come no-one saw it on scanner... unless you jumped it in and immediatly cloaked it but even then.. with the scanner changes cant you see cloaked ships on scanner?

Err, no, unless something happened after I lost my ship, LV didn't put his titan in danger. AFAIK it was sitting in a safe spot in a nearby system, and it did a doomsday activation via cyno field.
Aw shadow, did you lose another faction fitted inty? Really, you guys should try to bring some battleships to these fights, your inty's die too quickly.

You confuse me with someone else, I never had the isks to put faction stuff in something as fragile as an inty. And I rarely use them in pvp, I prefer bigger ships.

Was getting damage long before I saw anyone or the right-click menu came out to warp to a spot. Then CTD'ed. Logged back in and I was in POD. POD got damage again before I saw anyone and was podded. No right-click menu again.

Congrats to LV, its quiet an effort, and an expensive one at that and nice to see one being used for PVP.
Not a nice surprise for RAGOON, however i cant see the same stunt being pulled on the same scale again or atleast when they know the pilot is in system.
Having said that, i doubt that there would have been a more oppertune time or way to reveal the existance of their titan. Well played LV.

Problem is the server gave up after a few kills. Almost ALL of the kills didn't include any destroyed items, the base line ISK value should be much higher, let alone the market value.

The ships take a long time, for sure.
Having the pilots to fly them, is much easier.

Battle's still on, Ragoon got one POS online after LV used the titan to kill another fleet. Coalition is shooting dreads as I type this.

I'm reading this post and thinking back to my time as a student...
My flatmate and I were of the lazy lads variety, the local pizza delivery recognised our number and we just asked for "the usual".
We used to stack up all the pizza boxes in the kitchen, until we could fit no more on the table, the ceiling eventually dictated that we stop. With all the old bits of pizza, the odd fly got attracted to the delights of our kitchen, this fly would tell his friends until eventually the word spread. We had our own fly colony it seemed.
As two upstanding young chaps that we were, there was only one course of action. BUG EXTERMINATION. But how to do it ? we didnt have a Titan, (Eve wasnt conceived at this time), there was only one sensible choice open to us.
Spray Deodorant and Cigarette Lighters !
The fun we had that day I expect comes somewhere close to Enslavers moment today. Well done L-V and all who helped get the titan, I would say good fight, but just like the flies, you didnt have much chance

2 pos down, the 3rd one is going down as we speak. Nothing's left of LV + V's fleet.
Was one of the most amazing battle in Eve history. It started after DT, TCF fleet moved to 1v- an begun to engage V pos quickly backed up by RA and Goon. The 5 V pos were put in reinforced mode without any resistance. 3 of the PoS were due to get out of reinforced 7 hours later, the situation seemed desperate for V.
At this point LV bring the titan on the battlefield and wipe 75% of TCF RA Goon fleet, at this point we were not very optimistic about the situation, but the back up was coming very fast, before LV could organise a defense and take advantage of the situation TCF / RA / Goon wiped out a first pos.
More battle happened as the Goon pos was being anchored, but it succeeded.
LV managed to get their fleet in system with a jump portal inside a pos, but RA Goon and TCF had received a lot of reinforcement by that time, goon had logged on en masse and Imperium and IAC made it to 1v-, so we decided to attack the 2nd pos getting out of reinforced with 150+ enemies in local, the enemy fleet was beaten and the pos destroyed. LV and V defended the 3rd tower as well as they could with a fleet of 100 but they got quickly outnumbered and again their fleet was destroyed.
After 12 hours of constant fighting 1v- score is 3 PoS goon, 2 PoS Veritas. Well over 100 battleships were destroyed during that day.

In 1v-, the system that has an outpost constructed, has currently lost 2 of the 5 moons holding sov. The rest will be..deconstructed in a matter of days.
Regardless of how much E-peen you attempt to wave, it won't save this system.
There are already names being discussed for the station, such as:
Goonsday Memorial or 12/8 Nevar Forget.
I vote we name it Smartbombed

"better luck next time"
On a lighter note,
Is it strange that our enemies fielding a motherf**king Titan is a morale boost to us? I can't tell.

However, from the conflicting reports here, I didnt understand something:
Was the Avatar already in local, and just cyno was made in proper spot? or the Titan actually jumped into the middle of their fleet?
If its the later, then how comes that the RAgoon+allies, having way over 250+ ships, couldnt take it down within 15 secs?
I mean, 250+ ships is insane DPS! should have been able to I would think.. or whats the HP on the thing?
Its great being a Gallente blasterpilot, aint it?

In all honesty, I doubt this can really repeat itself. If goons had prior knowledge that LV had a titan, they would've known to run when that cyno opened. Now that it's common knowledge, LV no longer has the supreme element of surprise.

Indeed, this Doomdays shot was perfectly done.
I'd say that Titans were designed to be used exactly that way (whiping a complete fleet at gate).
However, RAGOONTCF and allies finally had the upper hand in POS fights later.
We are now singing :)

Should be, except when your opponents are RA / Goon / TCF you can't really say we've been "stunned" or "scared" by your titan, we were rather like "Damn that was a nice move : we need more ships, NOW !"

Congratz on a successfull deployment of this beast.
If you all recall an forum mod post after ASCN annonced theirs, They said yes we confirm that Ascn has built the first titan, but we cant confirm or deny if another one another one started or built afterwards. kind of given it away. it was just a whos built/building it and when will they show it.

When somebody only puts 4-5 hours of stront in a POS on a weekend there is no saving that system.
Good fights all evening. However you got lucky that the V POS manager had a bad hair day and gave LV / V no chance to organise a setup on you when the POS's "should" should have been coming out of reinforced over 1 day later.
If the POS was properly fuelled you would not take 1V- and whats more you would have lost even more ships while trying.
This isn't over, by a long way.

Thats a valid question. BoB has Doomsday'd an ASCN fleet by popping a cyno in the middle of it and having the Titan jump in from another system and activate Judgement.

Besides the hitpoints and resists, it's immune to web/scram, and only has to get within 40 degrees to be aligned. So it's not really that dangerous to warp it into the same grid as an enemy fleet. The balls must be of significant size, but I wouldn't really call them huge. The enemy dictor pilots would have to be very fast to get to it before the DD went off. Also, doesn't the DD pop dictor bubbles?
A big reason to do the jump-system-then-DD approach is your opposing fleet learns very, very quickly who the titan pilot is. If that pilot is not in local, a cyno does not appear nearly as dangerous. (Which is why I presume BoB used that tactic against us)

It can be a bit like that. I have been in 3 blasts now and strangely my merlin didn't get out in time and my Moa and Mega did. Go figure.
In the case of the merlin I did what needed to be done and since I clearly wasn't going anywhere just enjoyed the Fireworks. The light is purdy

Feels like we did the ultimate node crash testing last night about 600 ppl in system As soon as the cyno came in I thought no ! it can't be, but seeing the start of the blue globe it immediately became clear what was coming. I got lucky, being far enough from the cyno to avoid any damage...which can't be said for a lot of my comrades. Though TCF,Goons and RA held the field instead of runing away and achieved their objective of the night.
I can say that in my short EVE life I lived through some really epic fights, first in D7 against D2 et al, with a surprise counter-attack that left its mark then with this last night. I really feel priviledged to fight against ppl like u guys.

The lag I agree with. The game was pretty much unbearable. Sure, the node didnt crash, but thats about it.
Its simple, warp 10-15 dreads to a pos, they lock the pos, turn on their guns, then warp the rest of your fleet in so that nobody can do anything due to 400+ people on the same grid.
EVE lacks the power, even with the new upgrades to handle that. I doubt very few if any system / coding in the world could handle that with current technology.
The dreads and the Pos were the only things actually able to shoot/kill anything.
RA/GOON paid a heavy price for those 3 pos's, and expect to pay an even greater one trying for the other 2 or to claim the system. The only reason you had any sucess today was because of the fueling problem / screwup. I don't expect that to happen again.

Only reason you got 1v- is the jump queue implementation which came after C-J. We couldnt jump in after the DD firing and remove the rests of the fleet before reinforcements arrived.
Easy as that.
350 local 1v - (250 kills due to doomsday + friendlies in station) = 50-70 hostiles remaining. A 150 ppl fleet in GDHN not being able to jump through the gate to clean the mess = priceless.
CCP helped you out with their patches to actually do sieges successfully again. And blobbing (which didn't work in our case) works for you, not against you now due to the fact that even lag doesn't let you lose CS now since 400% hp boost and Jump queue.
But war isn't over yet. The fun goes on. Let's see what the future shows.

Well, the titan action was great fun. Thanks to LV/The Enslaver.
It was a nice demonstration that titans are very useful tools despite, what some people said.
One huge camp almost destroyed with one blast and when we still failed to get into the system through the camp because of queuing, the jump-portal allowed us to get in without any losses.
Although queuing at the Titan again was crap. It took so long that even the cyno for the portal went down just, when I was about to jump, so it was aborted.
Anyway, most memorable day for me so far.
Fights at the pos were pure lag as usual (5 minutes response-time or so) I just wished we would have called the Dread primary, that nos'ed me. Looks like some Goons don't have the skill for siege module yet and fit NOS instead. But noticed it too late, because 'effects off'. Hehe.

I feel honored to have taken part in such an awesome experience, even with barely 6 months in the game.
Thanks to The Enslaver & the other LV directors, our allies -V-, my corp, and of course my comrades in LV for making all this happen. :)
The morale boosting effect of hearing a titan you didnt know you had, popping over 200 ships and up to 70 battleships is brilliant. A small, brief party ensued on ts before it was back to business.
Unfortunatly huge jump queues at the 1v- gate, meant that our fleet couldnt get in, so hard to resort to another method. In in every way, warping to the titan with 130 other ships and watching it open portals is one thing in eve - i will always remember many many many years down the line.
I took some fraps of the titan, and the jump portal experience but its jumpy because of the lag - ahh well. Damn traffic control at the titan to!)
Anyway - the fight goes on, lost some pos's but morale in LV which was already high has risen even higher.

True 700+ destroyed in 24h, u lost largely more than 180 ships.
They were no chaos on our TS.
Ens was hidding in a pos.
U lost suv.
Now we know.
Even in killing 2/3 of our fleet u find the way to loose the battle.
Facts are that all ur fleets and titan can't stop us,we think about ur future and we feel so good.

So, they set off a couple of doomsday thingies and killed some ships with them. Whatever. We still kicked their asses royally. Us Imperium Alliance people didn't suffer from it either because we came in later in the battle. So, for our fleet it was a total win. We barely lost any ships and we killed a bunch.
Veritas Immortalis and Lotka Volterra were major losers in the battle.

on a side note..if we start counting iskies LV are very far ahead..very..not even 3 pos's and 180 BS's come even close to losses Ragoon suffered, they are kicking themselves in the hinny and will do for months to come.

Never in Eve have i watched the political saga unfold with such interest, its awesome. ASCN BoB LV V RA Goons and now TCF and IAC and IMperium, of course MC and KIA are and wil be involved again.... D2 are rumoured to be coming in on the act, and its not power slogging, its deceit and passion and desire that is driving it all.
Titan released, HQ system falls same day...
700+ Kills in 6 hours in 1 syste,.
Ra and Goons dont post here, but from what the Ex KIAs said that are in gf, last night was a party on thier ts, celebrations etc
I think that shows what Eve is about

There is absolutely no doubt that LV and V lost that battle, a system that fall in less than 16 hours despite LV and V bringing pretty much everything they had including a Titan they were unable to stop the destruction of their PoSes.
I think LV bragging about the isk damage inflicted / received ratio to be kinda indecent when V lost yet another system. Is that cool to kill 20 more BSes than your enemy when your last ally lose 25% of its territory in one night ?

Dude, none of our fleet lost. Their side had their asses handed to them in spite of their Titan and whatever losses they caused with it. We (everyone that fought on our side together) wiped them out in the system. I was there, and there is no way what happened could be called anything but a total loss for their side.

I can remember TCF holding systems far longer than 16 hours under attack, with no allies coming with their titan, against 5 alliances... Easy as that
Combat is still raging anyway. People will have to see in one week what is the new sovrainty...

Backing up c0rn1's words I would like to add that yesterday RA forces lost a total of 0 cap ships and 1 battleship. Support not included in the calculations as it doesn't play any ISK role and it dies easily when warping on POSes :p

Congrats to the kamikaze pilot.
I can't say grats to ens for hitting a F1 button.
But grats to LV's HQ to have been able to hide the titan to it's own pilots (so to RA too).
But as 1v- is in control of the Coallition of Red(necks) French Goons I think showing them you had a titan at this point wasn't realy a smart move.
Anyways, nice explosions.

mactep you are twisting things a lilttle bit.
yes your coalition of alliances did a great job in the assault wich started within 2 hours after dt.
but the first fight at 3-1 was a joke ( my fight ) i loaded after 2 minutes then it took 45 sec-1 min to lock 1 target and then the guns got stuck and after 10 minutes i tried to warp and before the ship actually responded it took 2 minutes to do annything so both sides had to suffer from that and when youn have more numbers wich you had from teh start you have a big advantage.
and yes a titan killing alot of people was a nice moment but when you cant jump in your own fleet after that to try to take hold of the system it get pointless. it took us about 20 minutes to get the people thru the portal becouse of the constant que's so just imagine if we had to use a normal gate where you could just pick the pilots off 1 by 1.
but the fight isnt over yet those toys need 5 days to activate so the next coming days will show if you will be able to take hold of the system or that we can take down the placed POS's and regain the upperhand.

tbh. we would have certainly destroyed the first tower, while it was anchoring. It doesn't resist much damage at that point.
We wouldn't have used the jump portal to get into 1v, but gone directly through the gate, where we blasted most of your fleet away.
Wasn't possible, because there were still hostiles left and jumping through the gate was like 5 players every minute and not 160 or whatever we had at that gate within a minute, so they we would have gotten toasted.
That's why we aborted and moved the whole fleet away from the gate, although they had all already clicked jump and so we started another attempt with a jump portal a few systems away. The whole thing from getting the titan to us, which was quite fast, over getting through the jump-queue at the titan, until everyone was in 1v and we were able to fight there cost us probably half an hour.
By then the tower was already onlining and had only a few minutes left, which really sucked. Too much to make use of the hole that the Titan blasted into RAGoons+TCFs forces, because they had also reinforcements on their way. So the jump queue screwed things up.
But the jump-queues are an annoying part of the game, sometimes they help you, sometimes they work against you.
P.S.: If you read it as a whine, your problem, I really don't care. I just describe what happened and like I said, it was fun anyway.

To clear up confusing, i droped a cyno at a pos with my alt, ens jumped in as i warped to a covert ops on my main, i came out of warp droped a cyno but lag was insane and i died before doomsday cud activate.
We waited for the cyno alt to drop his cyno, refuled and went back in! Frapse on i drop out of warp hit F1 while dieing, ens activates, big whiteHand of God begins to activate, we think its failed, 3 mins of lag then ens gets some killmails!
We start screaming on ts, then around 215 wrecks start appearing, and server is broken :D

I Hope the GM¦s giving more Server resources to this Region after next Downtime. We need it urgent there to have more and better Fun without the Lag. We have more Pvp ppl there in 1 System as trader in Jita ;).
And with atm so many Involved Alliances as ,RA,Goon,IMP,IAC,TauCeti,V,LV,MC and some other Roaming around that¦s the Area in Eve with the Action atm. Only ASCN and BoB is Missing but you¦re welcome ;). But with all this Alliances involved and this amount of possible Pilots we need "more Server Power".

How ever, Titans do not win a war and will never do so . They can only win you one engagement when it is used properly , and i think this is the Devs answer to BLOBS and to alliances who totaly deped on BLOBS to win will think 10 times now before using them sicne they can be wiped out with one key stroke.
Congrats to LV on doing such a horrendous task of building the titan sicne it is realy a terrible job logistics wise and to keep it in secret (No congrats to ens he is just a slakcer who pushed a button :P j/k ) but the fact is also congrats to RA/Goons and TCF for taking such a massive blow and it still didnt shake their foundation and they are still claiming the system , imo this is the fighting spirit that several other cowardly alliacnes and corps lack so kudos to them for keeping it and controlling the system.
As a summary on Judgment :
Enslaver's Judgment = ULTRA KILLLLLLL.
Molle's Judgement = Swift .
Cyvok's Judgement = Friendly fire .

It truely is staggering just how much damage must have been done in that single strike. Imagine all the T2 Large Turrets and stuff that got annihilated. Considering a T2 battleship can cost in the region of 250mil its just nuts.

Just one complaint about the Titans and their use of DD, they shouldn't be able to use it from within a POS shield, at the very least, they should need to get out of the POS shield to be able to use it
This would give a little chance to the opponents to do something... or at least try
Titans cannot activate DD from inside a POS..... they have to be out of the shield.

Seems like LV's going to underestimate every single of their opponents to their last station. Maybe you should wake up and realise that Imperium was the first alliance in the coalition to score a victory against V by kicking them out of GW ?
Or maybe LV doesn't care about V anyway, V losing a region seems to be of little concern for LV, as long as they can play with their new toy ...

Well there's another way to get 200+ killmails - just undock in Jita (Caldari Navy Assembly) on a Sunday afternoon with your smartbomb BS and fire it up right at the exit :D

Ehm... From my perspective;
We where ordered to leave GW as it was and get our butts to SP. Indeed, we handed GW out to 'GW-locals' and friends and sorts (most of whom have my deepest respect as PvP'ers) but we did not got kicked out. I certainly didn't see any Outposts being conquered or sov being lost in GW from our side.
And yes... Its sucks not to be able to call GW home for now. But like I said before, keep our seats warm, we will visit so now and then (and snatch a DN).
Ah... *******s (insert english word for nonsense or meaning your man-hood in British English and in Hiberno-English) ....

Maybe you should notice that we decided to focus on our conquerable stations in Scalding Pass, because there are our main investments and there is the main battlefield. So we called all corps to Scalding Pass except 2 or 3.
It was a strategical move. You know, Great Wildlands has npc stations, there was no infrastructure to lose, except a few poses that could be easily moved to Scalding Pass. You can't lose a NPC region like you can lose a region with conquerable stations and outposts.

Well, LV helped a lot and imho a lot of them were really interested to hold 1v and also fielded the main force yesterday in 1v, when we tried to get people in their BS out of the station.
And finally the 'toy' like you call it was there again and helped to do it.
LV isn't in no way more to blame than us, if there is someone to blame. I think it isn't the right moment to blame people anyway, but to look ahead and see what can be done.

LV reminds me of the 1337 counterstrike players who run around getting nothing but headshots and stat whoring hundreds of kills, all the while their teammates get slaughters by the terrorists who plant the bomb. Pretty soon he is the last person standing, and honestly beleives he is winning because of his 50-7 score.
